Amazing stay f

We had an amazing night stay, rooms are clean bed was amazingly comfortable and all the staff especially the bar staff was extremely friendly and made us feel welcome.

Biggger bed please

Pleasant stay helped by very good weather. Hotel nicely positioned and efficiently managed. Bed was small so sleep was not good. Room 409 needs a king sized bed to meet modern expectations. Bar and restaurant both very good.

The San Clu was good for sea view, walking distance from all pubs / clubs. Car parking. Breakfast was good and hotel clean. We have stayed before and will do again.

The continental breakfast was lovely. The evening meal we booked was delicious and as it was Friday we had a live band . Unfortunately their groupies came and hogged the dance floor all night. The room was nicely decorated and we had a sea view. the location is not good, on a steep hill with only a bus hourly.

A great little find

One of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed. Lovely room with fantastic view from the balcony. Comfy bed and decent bathroom & shower. Breakfast was minimal but good and could ask for other things at extra cost.

Good size of rooms and AC in the room. Very comfortable. But yuu can hear all kind of noises. Especially when people are going to their rooms. Overall satisfied and be definitely back.

The hotel was great to stay in it was clean the staff was nice and approachable but it not wheelchair friendly you can get in to the hotel but you couldn’t fit a wheelchair in the lift without asking the person in the chair to get up and stand up to get the chair in the lift

Had a lovely weekend at the san clu, just one little niggle there was no plug socket at the side of the bed to charge your phone, had to leave it on the other side of the room. Other than that it was excellent great staff very helpful.

Extremely noisy during the week early mornings with trash van and linen van collections at 5am. Outside noise in the evenings with traffic and party goers kept us up late. The rooms were ok but they forgot to remove the many spider webs. Bed was quite uncomfortable but clean and staff made up the bed every morning. Tea and coffee available with bottled water each day. Breakfast had a very good choice but evening menu was drab and normal restaurant menu had nothing appealing. On a whole the staff were friendly and helpful and view was great.
View of Ramsgate prom from a side room on the third floor. The car park was behind us and was noisy early mornings. Great to have a small view of the sea. Price of room was normal for holiday glad for the discounted price with Expedia.

Good value hotel

A really friendly hotel with very helpful staff. The bedroom was clean and a reasonable size. A couple of minor but annoying features. Firstly, the view of the tv (which is in the corner of the room) from the bed is partially obscured by the posts of the four poster bed. Second, the wall lights by the bed have been installed lopsidedly.

Good experience overall

Arrived at 14.40 in heavy rain too be told at Reception that we were too early was a disheartening start. Flasks of coffee for breakfast was a disappointing throwback and problems with card entry system were irrritating. Everything else was good and our overall experience was good.

not so good, there could be more done with the rooms and decor around the hotel, more to point the rooms. Very Basic, bland, needs more colour, furniture and beds in particular need replacing. They done more in the bar area, which looks very modern and jazzy, to match it, there's not much. Sauna and Gym area are good. The service from Staff is very seldom, especially staff not caring there are fly problems around the hotel. Also, the food needs improving, quality check is required. The menu needs streamline and cut down. Far too much, which explains if they cook fresh. i would not knock it down completely there's always room for improvements.
