Lovely modern cabins, in excellent Scandinavian style, on a gorgeous horse farm. Comfortable space for a family of four,m thanks to a second pull-out bed, which was comfortable and as beautifully made up with duvets and extra blankets as the main bed. Large and spacious bathroom with a strong shower.
We really liked our accommodation that was exactly like on pictures. There was a hay stack in front of our cottage so we had a great view on the horses from our bed. Kitchen came with a dishwasher and Nespresso. Bathroom was well supplied. The whole cottage felt luxurious and sophisticated in the country side. There were some Icelandic cloaks for us to use.
We wish we could have stayed longer…
OMG!!! Highly highly recommend this experience. We went and feed horses. They do not come up to your personal cabin, but you can go and pet/feed them snacks inside of fence, we brought apples, cut them in pieces and horses seem to enjoy it.
And toiletries in shower, omg!! That was some luxury experience.

Even though I’d had unfortunate bad weather and arrived late to the hotel, I enjoyed the safe place to finally relax after a long day of driving. Beautiful spot and very clean stay

We loved staying here! Such an amazing location with all the beautiful horses, very modern and clean cabins, also very close to many waterfalls and hiking locations! Would absolutely stay here again, highly recommend!
This was the best stay in our entire trip of Iceland! Alina was an amazing host, very attentive and welcomed us in. She made sure we had all necessities taken care of. They had the option to have a true Viking experience with tasting and option to view all the horses on property. The horses did come right to the edge of the cabins and were able to wake up to them. Very very clean, warm cabin with amenities included. Will 100% be back!

Wonderful stay! It was raining and cold while we were there so we didn't get to interact with the horses too much but the room was lovely and it provided a very comfortable stay.

An incredibly unique property, with Icelandic horses right behind your new & fresh cabin. The option to book private or group horse back riding tours with the team here made the experience complete for our family. Highly recommend.

It was an amazing experience. Mr. Iceland gave the kids a tour of the stables and spoke about the horses. My kids were really happy.
The stay was great. Clean property and all ready for arrival. However, there was no one to contact for further needs. We needed an iron and an extra pillow as we were 3 staying but there was no communication on their end.

Unbelievable experience and a must see. Truly sleeping among horses on the most peaceful, picturesque property. Only about 15 minutes to a town with several dining options and a grocery store. We got to pet the horses and take a beautiful evening walk alongside their pasture. The cabins themselves are gorgeous and very luxurious- the bedding was amazingly comfortable. I wish we had more than one night! A once in a lifetime experience.

Sleeping with the horses is a quiet retreat conveniently located to the Golden Circle. Make sure you rent a 4-wheel-drive if you go in the winter. The last 4 km is on an unpaved road. We got stuck in the mud when we took a wrong turn. The good news is that, Hörður was our knight in shining armor and brought a large tractor to pull us out in the middle of a driving rainstorm.
The Blessi cabin is actually one large room with a separate bathroom. There are a minimum of dishes in the kitchen, but everything is in perfect condition and as clean as can be. It was probably the most comfortable bed we slept in in Iceland. We would be happy to stay there again.

The property was clean and perfectly ready for us. A real mood setter!
The property, all four cabins appear to be brand new.
The horses are right there and just a few steps out from the back sliding glass doors. No, it does not smell like horse business.
We were there one night and saw the Northern Lights for over an hour. This is a great location for searching for the lights. Almost zero light pollution and no mountains to obscure the views
No TV but you shouldn't need one. There is WiFi if you need to get on touch with the rest of the world.
If we ever end up back in Iceland, we will be staying for at least three nights rather than just one. One is not enough.
Our favorite location out of five stays.
The property is very nice and the beds are comfortable. The views are excellent. The door did not lock, but you are so remote from anyone else that it was not an issue.
I would highly recommend to others. It is a ways from restaurants, but it's exactly as advertised. The horses were also great to see as they ran in from the pasture in the evening. Kids loved it.
Our stay here was great, we loved the views of the horses so near, the privacy of having our own cabin, and we got a surprise visit from a very cute and friendly cat. The host was reachable via phone when we had a question, the self check in was convenient and the kitchenette was useful. Plenty to see in the vicinity - ferry about 20mins away to visit Vestmannaeyjar island.
