"What an extraordinary property. This beautiful and ancient stone house in the mountains is brimming with character. The rooms are beautiful and quirky in the very best of ways. The views are dramatic and exquisite. The owners are lovely people and made us very welcome. Breakfast was a feast of lovely pastries, bread, preserves and muesli type cereals. I cannot recommend this place enough and I'm sure that we will come back here again. "

"Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich, wir haben Sie jedoch nie gesehen. Der Check in und Check Out erfolgte per WhatsApp. Wir haben die angekündigte Terrasse nicht gesehen. Ebenso haben wir die Waschmaschine und den Trockner nicht gefunden. Die Lage der Wohnung ist außergewöhnlich, sehr ruhig und abgelegenen. Das war so, wie wir es erwartet haben. "This is a beautifully modernised and well appointed old house in a small village in the foot hills of the mountains in northern Corsica. Chantal the owner was warm and welcoming and very helpful. Small cafe and epicerie (limited stock) close by, where the atmosphere is very convivial (Chez Margot). Be prepared to negotiate narrow, winding roads and to take your time getting anywhere. Calvi, Ile Rousse and St Florent all just over an hour away; St Antonino and other pretty villages near at hand....

Außerdem ist die Hotelanlage ein Traum, mit Blick in die Berge und den Garten. Der Pool ist super gepflegt, genau wie der Garten. Die Lage des Hotels ist auch topp, wenn man die Dörfer der Balagne besuchen möchte. Der Strand in Île Rousse ist 16 km entfernt. Auch Calvi, Calenzana und Saint Florent...

"Das Hotel wird vom Vater und seiner Tochter Alba geführt. Beide sind sehr freundlich, symphatisch und sehr um die Gäste bemüht. Besonders zu erwähnen ist Alba, die sich außergewöhnlich um die Gäste kümmert, ihr war kein Weg zuviel. Das Zimmer mit Ausblick auf die Berge war sehr schön. Das Highlight war das gute Frühstück auf dem privaten Balkon. Das Abendessen auf der Terrasse ist ausgezeichnet und es lohnt sich nicht, woanders zu essen."

"The room and hotel are beautiful. The breakfast was fantastic. Unfortunately the after hours door code is not digital and we only took our room key. After dinner we could not get back in the building because we forgot the piece of paper that had door code written down. We had to WhatsApp call an after hours number and the owner came and let us in. He was not too happy about that but I would say sync up your door keys and door codes."

"We had a great stay, good room with comfy bed and pillows. It is an open shower with no door or curtain, so the floor/bath mat outside the shower gets soaked, no matter how careful you are. The garage is very tight to get in and out, and the slope doesn't help but if you can't find free parking close by, it is a safe option at €10 per night. The staff are friendly and helpful. The city centre is an easy, pleasant 15 min walk. There is also an excellent restaurant at the marina, across from the hotel."
