This 60's home has been extensively renovated and boasts a fresh new look, upgraded technology, new appliances, three queen bedrooms each with Smart TV's, a 65" Smart TV with Theater Sound, and two crisp full bathrooms. Pair up your phone to the Bluetooth area speaker.

Have your morning coffee or end of the day drinks under the covered back patio. Seating and a gas fire pit are perfect for evening chats. Even though the location is in town, deer frequently travel from the back of the property and are a joy to watch. If you walk up the rear of the property, there is a modest horseshoe pit overlooking the back yard.

Quaint Getaway

This home was beautifully decorated with new modern feel. The beds were very comfortable. The 2 levels was great for our family and in-laws staying together. The weather was too cold to enjoy the backyard. We would absolutely stay again next time we are in town attending in town events.

Best place in Rapid City

This home is wonderful. The hosts are responsive and have taken care of everything. The home has every detail covered. It is decorated well, spotless, and gives off warm vibes. The outside patio has a fire pit for enjoying the cool evenings. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

Perfect location for national park exploration

What a fantastic home! Everything you would need in a cozy home. This space was perfect for our family of three. It allowed us to be together or have our own retreat to relax. They decorating is wonderful, too. Thank you for having us. I’d recommend this place to anyone visiting this area.

National Parks vacation

This was the perfect spot to end our National Parks vacation! Close to downtown, and within an hour of all major attractions. Neighborhood was quiet and we loved visits from Penelope, the neighborhood cat! Place has all the basics plus extra touches like a firepit, indoor & outdoor games, laundry essentials, and a super cute coffee nook. The owner changed from time of booking and the contacts varied, but we always got the information we needed in a timely manner. We would stay here again!

Perfect get away stay

My sister and I were in town for a wedding and needed a place with mutlir rooms for my nephew to have his own. This property was around the same as multiple hotel rooms and cozier. The place was so homy and welcoming, we felt comfortable and safe with the neighborhood. The owners were great at intros and making us feel comfortable reaching out if we needed anything. If I'm ever back in the area i will see if this is an option, great house!

Was a great place to stay ! Exactly as advertised and better! Home owners were gracious and helpful, quick to reply. They even helped us when we had vehicle trouble getting us connected with their mechanic and we were back on the road the same morning! We would stay here again if ever in the area again and highly recommend to anyone who needs a place in the rapid city/keystone/Sturgess area.

Great little gem in Rapid City

Cindy made the process seamless. Checked in with me via text 3 hours prior to check in. We were to arrive an hour before check in and was able to get in early. She provided a video of the instructions to use the secure door locks. The house was impeccable and nothing has been forgotten to make this a great vacation getaway. We will most certainly stay again!

Beautiful, relaxing, perfect for a family!

Super charming property with all the right touches. Hosts are very easy to communicate with, with quick response times. The home is a very clean and relaxing space. They thought of everything you could need and the home is laid out perfectly. Soft towels, great smelling soaps and great smelling scents around the home as well. Comfortable beds. Plenty of space to hang out with kids and larger families. Location provided quick and easy access to anything you would need. This VRBO will be the first place we check for our next trip to RC!

Great Place

This was the most amazing property we have ever stayed at. Great location, great host, beautiful home when I walked in I was just so overwhelmed. She thought of everything and when I talked to her, she said that she did it herself. Highly recommend if you’re staying anywhere near Mount Rushmore to see the sites stay at this location. It’s beyond amazing. We had everything we needed from coffee to laundry soap to hot tea. A great refrigerator that had ice already ready when we got there which was amazing after a long road trip. The little things like the flowers and the fire pit in the backyard was a true bonus. The back patio was beautiful, and the bistro lighting offered a good ambience after a long day of hiking! The downstairs was so beautiful also! I just can’t say enough about this place! Thanks Cindy for the best experience we’ve ever had with VRBO!!

Perfect!

This property was a home away from home. Our family consisted of 4 adults and 2 tweeners. This property was very comfortable, welcoming, and easily accommodated us. Three COMFORTABLE queen size beds and two full baths. TVs and fans in every bedroom. Everyone had their own space when needed. Air conditioning worked beautifully. We had easy access to a local grocery store and made most meals at home. The kitchen was fully equipped which I loved. My only suggestion would be a different set of pans as those that are present stick terribly! Our favorite spot was in the backyard where we toasted marshmallows and made s'mores. We played several matches of bags which were provided. Bring bug spray because the SD mosquitoes are vicious! We enjoyed the almost daily visits from Penelope, the next door neighbor's kitty. She greeted us when we first arrived! Zoey, the neighbor's dog was very sweet and never barked. The location of this property is perfect and it allowed us to have a fun and memorable vacation!

Deserves a 10

Every need was met before we even arrived at this home. It is great for 2 couples as there is 2 beds and a bath upstairs and 1 bed and bath downstairs. Beautifully decorated and everything we could have needed was supplied. Communication was great as well. The location is great for everything South Dakota has to offer. If Vrbo offered the option for a 10, I would definitely rate them a 10.

Crisp, Clean, Sophisticated and Inviting

This little diamond in the rough was a neat and clean with a sophisticated look that was still comfy and cozy for winding down at the end of each day. The area roads are a bit rough, but the place is easy to get to with businesses and restaurants nearby. The host is super nice and made quick responses. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Very Comfortable, Impressive Interiors and so Homy!

We had a little challenge during booking because that was when we got caught in the middle of transfer of the property to the new owner. Thank you Cindy for your help. But we got the assistance that we needed to resolve the issue. Upon arrival and checking-in, it helped that Corry sent me a video on how the lock works. Getting in a homy house after a long drive brought much comfort and joy. The house was clean over all, the beds are comfortable and we had what we needed in the kitchen. Decor was impressive, just exactly as shown in the photos. We enjoyed the fire pit at the back porch! I loved the heater in the bathroom coz I'm always cold. lol The coffee nook and the fan in every room are the winners! The only tiny thing are fans were dusty and needing some cleaning but over all stay was fabulous! And one more thing, the day on our check out we had a flat tire as soon as we got out of the driveway. We ignored the tire being low pressure a night before so it helps to be closer to the airport too.

Absolutely wonderful stay!

What a wonderful house for our vacation to Custer State Park/Devil’s Tower/Badlands with my husband and senior parents! Super updated place, well organized and a very hospitable feel. The small touches and thoughtful amenities were very much appreciated. Television in every bedroom and in a common space to watch a movie together. Location was great if we needed to run to Family Fare grocery store (4 min drive) or grab takeout from Pauly’s pizza (4 min drive) or take out from restaurants downtown Rapid City. Host was incredibly responsive and communicative! Bonus, we had a young buck in the backyard that would visit every day.

Beautiful and Extremely Clean

Cindy was so kind and accommodating. The house was the cleanest VRBO we’ve stayed in. You can tell they put thought into this home and thought of all the little things- laundry baskets, makeup towels, complimentary detergent pods and dryer sheets, TVs in all the rooms with moveable mounts, board games, fire pit, heated blanket, etc The decor was excellent and I really enjoyed the thought they put into this home. Thank you for letting us stay! We had a great spring break getaway exploring all the SD sites.

Wonderful stay near tourist attractions

My family - including two young kids - took a road trip to South Dakota to visit the Badlands, Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park, and a few other tourist attractions in the area. This home was a perfect place for us. Very clean, conveniently located, easy access to anything you need for your trip in Rapid City, and good communication from the owner. Highly recommend this home as a base for traveling to all the great sites in the area!
