Super cute two-Bedroom apartment with luxury bedding and new furnishings. Walk downtown to all restaurants, boutiques, Main Street Square, civic center and local events. The location is spectacular and convenient to get anywhere by foot or car. This apartment is centered in the middle of everything! It is a great pivotal point as we are located 30 minutes from Mt. Rushmore, 30 minutes from the Badlands, 45 minutes from Deadwood, 45 minutes from Custer State Park and surrounded by the beautiful Black Hills. Rapid City's Rose Garden (Halley Park) is located directly across the street with views from the windows and a hiking/biking hill, and a golf course within a five-minute walk from the front door. Great to be close to downtown as well as easy access to get to Mount Rushmore, Sturgis etc. The beds were very comfortable and cozy. Highly recommend this place!

Conveniently located for our travels to see Mount Rushmore and surrounding areas. This lovely apartment was clean, eloquent in design and Super comfy beds to put us to rest. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family to stay in the future.

Very nice property. Was extremely clean and communication with owner was great. The kitchen faucet plugged up on us due to lime on the city water. It was fixed promptly and the owner even did the dirty dishes that were in the sink while we were out exploring. Would definitely stay here again.

We spent two nights here as part of a driving trip and it was perfect for us in order to visit Badlands, Rushmore etc. The property is very well presented and within walking distance to a number of cafes, restaurants etc. The owners are easy to deal with and respond quickly. Thoroughly recommended.

We stayed here for SDSMT parent’s weekend. The location was great for us, within walking distance to shopping and dining. We cooked several meals in the apartment and had sufficient cookware to do that. Would stay there again.

This property is very convenient to the restaurants of downtown Rapid City. It served as a homebase for us as we spent several days visiting the Badlands, Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park and Deadwood. Jami was extremely easy to work with and gave us a late check out which I really appreciated.

My family and I spent 5 nights in Rapid City. The apartment was walking distance to town. We walked into to town for coffee, meals and to explore. We also took day trips around the area to the Badlands, Mount Rushmore, Wind Cave and Custer. Each day we were happy to return to our comfortable apartment to wind down, prep lunch and watch tv. Thanks for a great stay!

We were looking for a quieter place. St. Joe's is a very busy street late into the evening. The VRBO was decorated very lovely with everything you need. New towels with no stains are needed. There was a leak in the ceiling over the kitchen that needed fixed. Exterior of the building needs scraped and painted desperately.

Jami and Matt were wonderful hosts and attended to all our needs. The downtown area is walking distance from the property and it is a charming district with restaurants and shopping. Jami provided us a list of local eateries and we enjoyed the places she recommended. Our 10 year old granddaughter loved the local ice cream and cookie places on Main Street. We also enjoyed the statues of all the presidents on every corner as we tried to name them without looking at the plaques. This property is comfortable and easy to get to Mt Rushmore, Custer Park, the Badlands areas and more. Communication was wonderful with the hosts and they accommodated last minute needs after issues with our flights. We highly recommend the area, the property and the hosts.

We chose this place for its appearance and location. It did not disappoint. Our timeframe was short but we were able to explore Deadwood on Friday evening and then Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, Wall Drug and Badlands all on Saturday, within close proximity. On Sunday we got to see more of Rapid City before heading home to Colorado. Regarding the accommodations: the King mattress was super comfy and the rooms were nicely decorated. Some nice added touches. If I'm looking for something to provide constructive feedback, I'd prefer to not have to do the dishes ( no dishwasher) .. lol... while on vacation and especially when I'm paying for a cleaning fee. Aside from that small thing, everything was great!

Location is key and we found the most perfect place to stay. We walked in to soft music playing in a beautifully decorated older home. The owners own several properties and have created gathering spaces in the back where visitors can relax and share experiences and nice conversation. Jamie was very responsive and thoughtful in her communication with us which began with a nice message making sure we arrived safely. The home is pretty much central to everything from Badlands, Mt Rushmore, Custer State Park, Pactola Lake and a nice walk downtown for shopping and dinner. Will definitely recommend this location or any property this owner is affiliated with.

My family of four, myself, my husband and two teenage sons, were very comfortable in this charming duplex for our first time to South Dakota. We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay and the location was perfect for everything we would be doing while in rapid city. It’s so close to the Ft Hays Chuckwagon which was the starting point for an amazing day tour of Mt Rushmore and surrounding areas, Reptille Gardens, Candy Factory, downtown shops, restaurants and grocery stores. There’s a beautiful park steps away from the front door where you can enjoy a morning or afternoon stroll. It is on a busy street but we did not have any problems getting in or out of the property. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting the Rapid City area.

The ease of parking is a big plus with this property. Using alley ways to access the parking lot made getting around in Rapid City easy. Lugging our suitcases up a flight of stairs was tough but we had driven 8 hrs that day too. So we were tired. Anyway, the apartment was tastefully decorated. We had plenty of room to spread out. The L shaped sofa was very comfortable, as were the beds. The shower was great and there were plenty of towels. We were told we could use the seating area outside, but we were so busy that we didn't use it. We were in contact with the owner and she answered our questions immediately. I would definitely stay here again.
