La Taverna di Sophie is located in a quiet area in the hamlet of Serre di Rapolano, in Rapolano Teme (SI), just 4 kilometers from the Terme di San Giovanni and 6 kilometers from the Terme Antica Querciolaia. On the first floor, you’ll find a bathroom with a Jacuzzi shower-sauna, and a kitchen equipped with a stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, and Nespresso coffee machine. The dining area features an extendable table and six chairs, as well as two built-in cabinets/pantries with various appliances available for guests’ use. Rounding out the first floor is a living room with a comfortable sofa. <br>The property has a fireplace, but for safety reasons, its use is not permitted; in fact, although it is visible in the photos, it has not been included among the amenities available to guests. On the first floor, you’ll find another bathroom with a bathtub (no whirlpool), a large double bedroom with a terrace and a window, and an additional, smaller double bedroom with a window. <br>Note: In accordance with municipal regulations, guests are required to pay a tourist tax of 2.00 euros per person, applicable for a maximum of 7 days; after this period, no further payments are due. Payment of the tourist tax must be made in cash; a separate tax receipt will be issued. The property is equipped with an air conditioner on the first floor that cools the entire floor and another air conditioner in the large bedroom. The second bedroom, adjacent to the first, is not equipped with air conditioning but only with a fan. Please let us know of any specific needs and/or requests BEFORE making your reservation; we will do our best to accommodate any non-standard requests. <br>The property is located just a few hundred meters from a supermarket (Coop), a pharmacy, a café, a tobacco shop with a newsstand, a post office, and banks with ATMs. The town’s historic center is also within walking distance, about 500 meters away. Right in the center of Serre di Rapolano, the medieval reenactment “Serremaggio” takes place from the second to the third Sunday in May.<br>Just a few kilometers from the Crete Senesi, the area is perfect for wonderful bike rides or simple walks through the countryside. The property is approximately 20 kilometers from the Valdichiana Outlet, 30 kilometers from Siena, 40 kilometers from Arezzo, and 75 kilometers from Perugia. Upon request, we can recommend restaurants or must-see attractions.<br><br>N.B.: PLEASE NOTE THAT IT IS NOT PERMITTED TO HOST ANYONE OTHER THAN THOSE REGISTERED; NO MORE THAN FOUR PEOPLE MAY STAY IN THE APARTMENT. ANY VIOLATION WILL BE REPORTED, AND A PENALTY EQUAL TO THE TOTAL COST OF THE RESERVATION WILL BE IMPOSED.
