The property itself is stunning: a beautifully preserved historic estate set in the peaceful hills near Cortona, surrounded by gardens, vineyards, and the golden light of the Tuscan countryside. But what truly set this place apart — what made it unforgettable — was the food. We were treated to an extraordinary culinary journey: over 19 exquisite courses, each one more delicious and artfully presented than the last. Every dish felt like a masterpiece — bold in flavor, flawless in technique, and crafted with the kind of passion you’d expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant. The chef didn’t just cook — they told a story with each plate. The restaurant staff went above and beyond, especially the manager, who made us feel like honored guests every time we sat down to dine. Every detail — from wine pairings to plating — was perfect. It was, hands down, the best food we had in all of Europe. "Great accommodations within a short walk to the Duomo, Palazzo and great Osteria. Rooms a classy and nice size. Bathrooms are clean and nice. Great breakfast. Helpful concierge service for questions. "

"Unbelievable hotel. The grounds are beautiful and amenities are some of the best around. The breakfast is the best we’ve ever had at any hotel. The spa access was also a very nice added touch. "Hotel Italia was the perfect base for our stay in Siena. Five minutes walk from the station and about 10-15 minutes walk from the centre . The room was clean, comfortable and quiet . Excellent buffet breakfast . Very friendly and efficient staff . Would love to return "
