"It’s a beautiful property with amazing access to the beach, but the rooms are old. It needs refurbishment, and it needs a lot of love. (to be honest it is not a five star room to any standards.) however the staff is amazing. Amazing breakfast the most beautiful view you can imagine and private access to the beach. "We rented a poolside view apartment for 5 nights, as did two other groups we were traveling with. Pros: pool areas are good, excellent for toddlers, large resort, covering large area, lots of free parking, access to cliffside trails was nice w/ good views, staff all friendly and competent, resort restaurants served tasty food. Cons: there appeared to be very little investment into the maintenance of the facilities. I mean everything...exteriors and interiors. For example, in our room the cold water valve under the sink was turned off because the faucet leaked badly when it was turned on. The refrigerator and freezer doors didn't shut and seal regularly because the cabinets and cabinet doors were all askew. All the wicker patio furniture was frayed and in rough shape. The one couch in the living room was missing all the backrest cushions. The latch/lock for the property gate to the trails was broken off, looked like it had been that way for a long time. The spa area was underwhelming. I definitely wouldn't call it a luxury resort and wouldn't feel it was worth the money if I'd paid more than a couple hundred dollars a night. "

"Decent property, conveniently close to train station. Our large room included 2 sofas using bedding mattresses (so each could sleep 1 for a total of 4). Separate bedroom. Fairly new. Microwave + fridge. One very small TV in main room (none in bedroom). Our 1st floor room (2nd floor by North American standards) had a small ant infestation (at least nothing like bedbugs or other bad news critters). Building construction across the street meant a bit of noise but the noise was fairly low-level (not sure if this was due to good sound insulation or just the new building contractors weren't doing very noisy work) and did not start until a bit after 8am. There's a big grocery store just down the street. AC seemed to work fine (though we didn't experience hot days)."

"This resort is luxury level at a very reasonable price. The room was high end, with everything we needed in the resort. I would have preferred a different coffee maker in the room (it had a Nescafe Dolce Gusto), but that's a very minor issue. The appliances were great. It took a while to figure out the clothes washer, but once we had that in hand, we had no issues. The proximity of the resort to the beach was fantastic and all of the pools were high end. This is in a secluded part of Lagos so it's great if you like a quiet resort. It was almost always only 4 euros to take a Bolt to the Marina. It was also only a short walk to the Lagos Boardwalk. All in all, this was a fantastic find."

"The family room was very clean and spacious do a group of 3. The staff are very kind and the daily housekeeping is great as well. The only con is that with the curtains closed, the room can be dark as there is not a big main light, just smaller lamps on the sides of the bed"
