The place is pretty nice, but what really makes it great is the staff. They were extremely friendly and accommodating. Very relaxed about things. Just a nice "at home" vibe

Place was new and very clean. Food was plentiful and good. Notmu h to do on this small island except relax. Owner gave free boat ride to sand bar which we appreciated.

All in all, I loved the place, the food, the staff, everything, most of all.....my companion :) my lovely wife!

We decided to book our honeymoon at Veligandu just 4 weeks before our wedding and we could not be any happier. I did a lot of research on the different Islands and types of resorts in the Maldives and decided that Veligandu had everything we wanted for much cheaper than some of the other islands. The island the hotel sits on is small and perhaps a bit crowded in the peak season ( we went in the off season July). The staff are all very welcoming, always smiling and very friendly. They will do...

That was a fantastic vacation. This resort is amazing and the food is excellent. I do recommend booking all inclusive to enjoy the best restaurants and bars at max.

Clean and cozy rooms. Nice and friendly stuff... Perfect start for my vacation.

What an amazing property - the rooms were amazing the breakfasts delicious the beach superb and the service - impeccable. This is such a better option than going for the resorts it’s wonderful staying on a local island - this is my 5th trip to Maldives and I’ll only do local islands and this is definitely one of the top properties on a local island. The jet boat transfer was affordable and timed well.

Incredible stat. Simple practice. Right on the beach . The room big . But the most inportant the staff very very friendly ajd help us in everythink

We had a short but excellent stay at Westsands. The staff were friendly and always accommodating not only with us but other guests. Musab, the hotel manager was in contact with us before out trip and answered all my questions about activities, currency, etc. The room was cleaned twice a day and had all the typical conveniences. There is a restaurant in the hotel and the service was great. They even did an afternoon ‘tea’ on the beach with local deserts and cuisine. The hotel was steps from the...

This is a great property. Period. It is an island-hotel with 70 rooms only. When I think about all-inclusives, I generally categorize them in 3 big groups: 1. Party all day. Adults only, fun and drinks happening all day long. Plenty of eating options. 2. Family oriented. Games, a lot of kids around. Many pools, eating options. 3. Quiet. Can be family or adults, but it means relaxing at the beach, food served at fixed ours, nobody really partying, most guests in bed well before...

Amazing. Very clean and comfortable. Free bikes and snorkeling gear. Dinner is $10 per person. Very tasty

We researched extensively. Several spreadsheets and reviews of multiple sites. Our experience was the best. Not sure which adjective would summarize our experience the best. But the best. We’ve been to 50+ countries, and as Americans done many all inclusive trips to the Caribbean and Mexico. The Haleveli experience puts them all to shame. The staff was the most friendly and engaging (whereas we’ve didn’t speak to any other guests until our last day). The privacy you have is awesome. ...
