"To say it’s rough around the edges is being kind. As a solo business traveller it is convenient and the second time I have stayed. Former IPAS centre and it shows. Little money has been spent on it to bring it back to a real hotel level. Continental breakfast was good. Parking is convenient. In the centre of the town and cheaper than other hotels around. Fine for me but if I brought the wife she would not be happy."

"Words can not describe the absolutely stunning estate. The house has so many unique qualities its hard to consolidate. Great area for the kids to run outside while the adults relax and the outside table. Bunk room is perfect for kids. Game area with ping pong. So roomy that our 10 people never felt on top of each other. Plenty of bathrooms and showers. The views are absolutely amazing. Kinsale is now my favorite irish town. Love love love this place"

"This was by far the nicest rental we have ever visited. The house was spotless, full of amenities, and had a breathtaking view. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, but we also had privacy. They were willing to show us the workings of the dairy farm, and we loved their very friendly dogs and cats."

"Der Blick von der Terrasse ist Urlaub pur. Das Cottage ist einfach aber funktional wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche verbracht. Die Lage ist einfach nur toll. Es ging auch ohne wlan mal für eine Woche und auch ohne Waschmaschine. Man arrangiert sich. Die Küchenutensilien sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber auch damit haben wir uns arrangiert. Alles in allem ein älteres aber gut nutzbares Haus in dem man einen schönen Urlaub verbringen kann. Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber und der Verwalterin vor Ort war top. Vielen Dank für diese schöne Möglichkeit Irland zu erleben. Beste Grüße aus Sachsen "

"Wonderfully rustic and charming, yet still comfortable and well appointed. If you’re looking for a home base to explore County Cork or just relax by the fire with friends and conversation, look no further than the Argideen river lodges. We loved the massive windows for light and fresh air during the day and the sunroom was an absolute treat. Timoleague also felt like a little hidden gem among the towns flooded with tourists in mid June; the fish and chips at Padjoe’s was the best we had from Dublin to Killarney on this trip. The upstairs shower would definitely be tricky for anyone with limited mobility and there are quirks as with any old property, but it’s been lovingly and judiciously modernized in the important ways. Overall we loved our stay and can’t wait to return with more friends!"
