Perfectly fine

My stay in Ratingen was perfectly fine. I have no complaints. The taxi to the airport is expensive and there's a €5 additional drop off charge so that should be taken into account, when "saving" money on accommodation near the airport.

I missed a refrigerator in the room and if you come late in de evening to the hotel you can not park the car. Also there was not a watercooker and cofee or thee in the room. But all the other thing were good.

Construction

This hotel was outstanding: a very large room with a separate sitting area, a very large bathroom with a great shower, lovely people at the front desk, and an excellent breakfast buffet. The only reasons for giving it 4 rather than 5 stars was noise and privacy. I don’t know if every room had the same problems, but ours (36) was on street level. I was constantly aware that people walking by might be able to look in and by 5:30 am I could already hear people walking by and talking. Furthermore, the entire area is completely under construction and by 7 am the work began.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend empfangen. Unser Zimmer war groß und modern eingerichtet. Zimmer und Bad waren in sehr gutem, relativ frisch renovierten Zustand. Alles sauber und ordentlich. Das Frühstück als Buffet vollkommen ausreichend, abwechslungsreich und mit viel Liebe präsentiert und zubereitet. Eine Presse für ganz frischen Orangensaft und eine große Auswahl an Teesorten und Kaffeegetränken sind hervorzuheben. Das Team um Hotel ist sehr nett, hilfsbereit und freundlich. Eine handvoll hauseigene Parkplätze stehen zur Verfügung. Weil diese jedoch meist belegt waren, haben wir sehr günstig in unmittelbarer Nähe bei der Stadthalle geparkt. Absolut in Ordnung. Die fußläufige Lage zum Zentrum ist genial. Nur wenige Gehminuten bis zum Marktplatz. Dieses Haus können wir empfehlen und bei einem nächsten Besuch werden wir wieder dort einchecken. Danke an das ganze Team. Wir hatten ein schönes verlängertes Wochenende bei ihnen.

Wir waren lediglich für eine macht, aufgrund eines Konzertes im Hotel. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut erreichbar, es gab keine Probleme mit den Parkplätzen. Zudem ist in der Nähe gleich eine Haltestation von der man den Hauptbahnhof erreicht. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und haben uns gleich sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer in der obersten Etage unter dem Dach. Es war alles ok, allerdings bräuchte das Design des Hotels definitiv ein Upgrade. Das Frühstück haben wir nicht gewählt.

Das Zimmer war sauber, Minibar nicht vorhanden. Das Frühstück war zwar umfangreich, jedoch waren die warmen Speisen um 7:00 Uhr morgens allekalt ( Rührei, Speck, Frikadelle ) Die Sauberkeit im Speisesaal ist ausbaufähig, Krümel vom Tisch wurden mit der Hand einfach weggefegt und dann neu eingedeckt, Tische wurden nicht abgewaschen. Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig.

Goed hotel in het centrum van Ratingen, auto kun je bij hotel parkeren, kamers zijn netjes, er is een lift en ontbijt is inclusief. De bus en tram ( U-bahn ) stopt om de hoek en met de tram ben je ca. 30 minuten bezig naar het centrum van Dusseldorf ( kosten 3.60 Euro enkele reis ) er zijn twee supermarkten op 1 minuut lopen en restaurants op ca. 5 minuten lopen in het centrum van Ratingen .

Ich habe zwei Nächte in der Unterkunft übernachtet. Es hat alles gepasst. Die Trambahn hält direkt vor dem Hotel und man ist in ca. 30 Minuten in Düsseldorf Zentrum. Es gibt sehr gute Cafés und Restaurants, die alle zu Fuß zu erreichen sind. Zu empfehlen als preiswerte Alternative für Hotels in Düsseldorf.
