"My experience at Courtyard by Marriott Phuket Town was disappointing and far below what I expect from a Marriott property. The check-in process took over 30 minutes, only to be informed at 1:30 pm that the room would not be available until after 3:00 pm. During this time, several other guests checking in beside us were offered rooms immediately, which made the situation even more frustrating. At the swimming pool bar, we were not allowed to charge the bill to our room and were asked to go back to the room to make payment instead. This felt inconvenient and inconsistent with standard hotel practice. The breakfast experience was particularly disappointing for a vegetarian guest. The available vegetarian options were extremely limited. The few vegetable dishes provided were soggy, and when I requested a small fresh portion, the request was declined. After this interaction, I chose not to have breakfast despite having it included. There was little effort made to accommodate or offer alternatives. An American guest sitting next to us made a complaint that when you write Soup also mention Spicy in the buffet… at that very moment atleast 5 staff surrounded him with options and apologies… very strange contrast Overall, the hospitality and service levels were not in line with what I have experienced at other Marriott properties."

"Could be a gym, probably was at one point. Dirty, not well appointed, breakfast is cooked at 7:00 a.m. once so if you go at 9:00 you get 2 hour old food... If you enjoy old shrimp this is your place... Service is totally lacking or non existent. No mattress pad, AC can't keep room cool even in winter ... Look elsewhere for now "

"Although the hotel has a nice presentation, friendly staff and average clean rooms, it was disappointing in a number of items. On 4 occasssions we returned to our rooms after 4pm and the rooms had not been made, it became that late on each occassion, we advised them not to bother. The restraunt was very dissapointing, we had our first meal there on our second night, it was average at best, we decided to give it another chance on our second last night, it was disgraceful. I complained about the quality of the food, which i rearly do, the head chef came out to appologise and admitted the food was reheat. Its probably not surprising there didnt seem to be many evening patrons. Although the hotel has most services around it, there is no easy transport to the major Phuket attractions. Taxi's are extremely rare, there is no courtesy bus from the hotel, staff advised there was a street bus, waited in the street for over 1hr, the bus drove straight past dispite 4 of us trying to wave it down at the allocated pick up zone."

"Room was clean and comfortable but very simple and blind windows .. it s correct to stay, nothing to say, but clearly overpriced at 80 euros !! And can be sold more like 125 🙄 My room was just near lobby, where a game place is for kids .. since 8am kids are doing noise .. "
