"Loved staying at this hotel, located directly overlooking the beautiful fijords. Very clean and very friendly and helpful staff. Dining was special with excellent menu options and presentation of food was beautiful as well as delicious. My favorite hotel on our one night stop over during our amazing car trip through the Norway fijords. Would highly recommend this property!!"

"The view, atmosphere created by the staff and hotel’s gentle grandeur was lovely, but our room was suoer hot (no air conditioning and a wall of south facing windows that only opened slightly) and the layout of the room was odd (likely due to limitations when upgrading the historic hotel). But overall it was lovely. "

"The Grand Hotel was one of my favorite hotels in Norway. The staff members were all friendly and welcoming. The facilities were clean and sufficient. The breakfast was wonderful, and I enjoyed a wide variety of hot and cold items. I am grateful for that! The hotel is very close to the train station and is located downtown, right beside the cable car. Everything is within walking distance, including a couple of food markets and a gas station. There is also a small gym in the hotel. I enjoyed the historical photos on each floor, telling the story of the hotel and its guests. I would absolutely stay here again!"

"The spaces were very clean, and the host provided everything we needed. Wi-Fi, comfortable bed, hot shower with towels and body wash, kitchen with plenty of plates, cups, etc. Super convenient location. Recommend getting stuff for breakfast from Extra, lunch from Sødahlhuset, and dinner at Eggen restaurant at the top of the Romsdalsgondolen for the best birthday ever. :)"

"Good hotel in a good spot to go to Trollstigen! Nice, clean, centrally located. Check in/out could be smoother like scanning a QR code instead of having to look up booking references. You have to type in all booking references if you book more than one room using the same name."
