"Relatively spacious, well appointed rooms. Just make sure you ask for soft pillows!"

"I enjoyed my stay. Having access to a kitchen was great, the staff were friendly (even offered me some soba noodles one morning) and the sea view from my window was great. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, as was the chair I was sitting in to work for a bit. There are stairs in this property (no lift) so it may not work for everyone. "

"We absolutely enjoyed our stay! The property offered privacy and comfort for us. The space was enough to sleep many people and also offered a laundry facility. There is a wonderful cafe on the property operated by a very friendly woman offering a variety of tea drinks. It was definitely a local hang out. There is a shrine to visit situated in the forest with fresh spring water. We recommend filling up on some of mother natures fresh nectar. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will return in the next week to utilize this great property as a home base for local discovery. We highly recommend. "

"This hotel is close to the bus terminal. It is also walking distance to Godzilla Rock. Front staff is friendly and speaks English. At check out, we were asked to pay Y300 each for using the Onsen or hot bath. We told him we didn’t use the hot bath facility but we still have to pay for it. I don’t think that is right. "

"Hotel is excellent in all areas like food, Onsen, foot bath, afternoon tea, size of room……… Not much to do and see outside unless drive or tour. Different shape of rocks can be seen from room. "

"Stayed in the top floor suite for 3 days and found every penny worth. Great service, great room and great views The only drawback is the distance to Rausu. We did not have a car, but the front desk helped in every possible way for taxi, buses."
