Comfortable rooms, friendly staff, great location.

Very conveniently located just a short walk from the Ravenna train station. Very friendly and accomodating staff. Easy check-in and check-out. Room was pretty basic but clean and comfortable. Big bonus for cruisers as the hotel provides a free shuttle to the cruise port (which is actually quite far away).

Clean, comfortable and convenient

Hotel Italia is conveniently close to the rail station; the area is very walkable to many of the attractions and the shops. The staff were very nice and the room was spacious, very clean and the bed was comfortable. The buffet breakfast and the staff in the little attached breakfast only restaurant were very nice. I would definitely recommend.

Superb Hotel.

Check in was quick and easy and the host was very friendly. We took lift up to second floor. Room was very clean and comfortable. Buffest breakfast was very good, the service was perfect and the coffee was excellent. The hotel is less than 5 minutes from the railway station and 7 or 8 minutes from tbe town centre. Highly recommended.

We appreciated that the hotel arranged for our transfer from BLQ for a reasonable fee the the transfer to the cruise port was free. The front desk as very helpful in pointing out options for touring and dining. The included breakfast buffet was very convenient before starting a day of touring the city. Owner Tommaso was especially friendly and helpful. Overall the hotel is a great place to stay in.

Ok property in a good locatii is n if you’re trave

This is an aging property that is located in an area that, while convenient to the train station, has attracted a population of idle people in the street. The room itself needs a more forceful shower and quieter A/C. A big plus is onsite free parking and a very reasonable cost for breakfast. The staff is very helpful and cordial. For the price, I’m confident better accommodations could be had.

My wife and I had a delightful stay at Hotel Italia prior to boarding Celebrity Eclipse on 19 September 2025. Tommaso and all the hotel staff members were excellent. They were very friendly and helpful, making our stay very enjoyable. The breakfast was outstanding. The lady who did housekeeping was also excellent. From the hotel, we took a walking tour to all the amazing historic monuments and museums in Ravenna famous for Mosaic and Byzantine art. Many thanks to Tommaso who drove the shuttle to take us and other hotel guests from the hotel to the cruise port!

The hotel staff was very kind and helpful! It began when they sent us an email about the transportation strike happening the day of our arrival and continued through the whole of our stay. The room was fairly large, comfortable, quiet, and very clean. The desk staff went out of their way to be helpful, providing directions, an extra key, phone numbers, etc., all with a smile, kindness, and caring. They even printed some documents for us. This hotel is good quality, its a shame about the location , it once had a Resturant but now closed. Good quality rooms. I would say you need a car to get around no Resturanti in walking distance. Well not what i like. Its hard to say for me about the area but to many new comers if you know what i mean.

Friendly welcome on arrival and appreciated having earlier access to our room. Close to the train and a short walk to see mosaics courtesy of a walking tour we booked as only coulld stay one night. Everything was clean, a range of options at the breakfast buffet. Umbrellas available for use by guests handy as it was raining. It is an older property but well looked after and suited us for the one night stay.
