It was okay

I hope the owner upgrades the furniture and other appliances in the cottages. It looks nice and cute but needs to upgrade the things inside. Overall, the area and cleanliness were good.

Scenic

We loved the chalet and Rawdon area, absolutely breath-taking!! Even in the chilly winter we never felt cold, (even in the bathroom ). Heaters in each room so you can adjust. The tub was a bit small for a good long soak. The woodstove was nice to use as well, but definitely wasn't needed for heat, just cozy ambiance. We loved spending time in the front room playing cards and puzzles, or would sit and read in the chairs with a lovely view. In the warmer weather sitting and enjoying the deck would be so peaceful. Only suggestion is to leave out a bucket of sand to help when its icy, it had been sanded a little on the driveway but we would have sanded the area by the door had it been handy, as it was slippery.Marie-Danielle is a lovely host, quickly answered all our questions. She invited us to meet the horses and had a lovely chat! There is so much to explore, unfortunately we didn't bring our snow shoes which I wish I had brought to enjoy walking our dog on the trails However, we loved walking him along the Scenic road so peaceful. Only issue, and admittedly its not an issue that most people worry about, and nothing Marie-Danielle did wrong. However, an increasing number of people are having very serious health issues with fragrances specifically laundry boosters and fabric softners, please consider using fragrance free laundry products. I would recommend visiting this beautiful Scenic Chalet to anyone considering.

Cet hébergement a vraiment un beau cachet ancien. 2 belles grandes chambres lit-double et une mezzanine avec 2 lits simples. Superbe galerie pour se détendre avec beaucoup d'oiseaux et une vue sur le petit lac. Chevaux à proximité. Jolie forêt feuillue en arrière du logement pour se promener. Logement idéal pour être avec mes chiens. Vraiment un très bel endroit pour se reposer et à proximité de Rawdon.

All was fine. I just had issue with the strong smell of febreeze or glade or some freshener. I'm sensitive to it. Also, if you have mobility issues, please note there is a big step to eating area and another couple to deck. Cute place and very nice view, quiet, beds comfy. Was a fine stay.

Un très bon séjour au calme au Canada

Assez proche de Montréal, le logement est situé en bordure d’un lac, entièrement gelé en hiver et magnifique au début du printemps. L’accès a été simple, le logement très sympathique avec un petit côté Virgin River qui a beaucoup plus à ma femme. Tout l’équipement est ok rien à dire, sauf peut être la douche un poil peu pratique mais on s’en accommode.Wi-Fi ok pour internet et mail sans soucis. La ville de Rawdon à proximité offre tout le nécessaire (essence, supermarché, restaurant, ballades, chutes …)Encore merci

Un petit chalet pour quelques jours entre amis

Le chalet n'est pas très commun ni pratique dans sa disposition, il reste cependant très confortable et agréablement décoré. On y a passé quelques jours formidables. Au calme tout en étant proche du centre ville de Rawdon pour accéder à toute commodité. C'est proche de belles randonnées, d'activités hivernales, de beaux paysages. Communication parfaite avec l'hôte, je recommande fortement ce chalet dont le rapport qualité prix est très convenable !!!Merci pour l'accueil

Un chalet champêtre et paisible

Nous avons passé un beau séjour reposant situé dans un endroit calme et paisible. Les enfants ont beaucoup apprécié la mezzanine. L’endroit est propre et l’équipement de cuisine de base complet. Welcoming space with beautiful view of the lake

We enjoyed every minute. What was not clear to me from the description is that the living room is really part of one of the bedrooms. Still, there was a cozy feel to the cottage and many windows from which to appreciate the wonderful views. Sunset was a great show every evening!

Parfait pour la relaxation

Magnifique, propre et parfait pour se détendre. La propriétaire répond rapidement aux messages. Il y a quelques petits trucs à améliorer (pas assez de débarbouillettes mises à disposition pour le nombre de personne (on en avait apporté en extra au cas) mais le coin laveuse-sécheuse est grandement pratique, brosse à bbq doit être changée) mais somme toute le chalet est très propre et très joli, avec plusieurs endroits pour relaxer. Superbe vue sur la terrasse. Merci pour le séjour!

Chalet convenable mais .....

Le chalet est acceptable, mais il devient vite évident que les photos et la description sont trompeuses. La climatisation mentionnée se limite à une petite unité de fenêtre installée dans une petite pièce, loin de suffire pour rafraîchir tout le chalet. Bien que les fenêtres paraissent récentes, elles sont difficiles à manipuler : pour les fermer, il faut passer par l'extérieur car les mécanismes sont défectueux. Contrairement à ce qui est annoncé, le chalet n'est pas situé au bord d'un lac directement. Il faut marcher un certain temps pour accéder au lac. De plus, un supplément a été facturé pour le bois du foyer extérieure, bien qu'il y en ait sur place suffisamment pour tout un été, ce qui aurait dû être inclus dans le prix de départ. Le chalet n'a pas de salon ni de télévision, et le lit de la chambre principale est très bruyant et inconfortable.
