"I canât say enough positives about this property! We stayed in the La Chambre de Marie Janelle. The room had everything you could need: robes, slippers, hairdryer, tea kettle, great AC, soap, even wash clothes. Our room was beautiful and very quiet. Getting to the property can be challenging but well worth the effort. I will say this property is NOT for those with any kind of mobility issues. There is no elevator and our room was on third floor. "Worst hotel ever stayed at unable to check in on first night as hotel locked. Sat outside for 2 hours then had to go to another hotel at âŹ109 for night. Hotel Clos did not respond to phone or text while we were sat outside!"
"The owner was at the desk and recommended a nice brasserie to eat: the hotel was comfortable, in an old stone building with a lot of character. The room was comfortable the bedding perfect and we had a little sitting corner. We did not try the restaurant because it was closed but you will find plenty of places to have a good meal at a reasonable price. Will return in a heart beat."
"What a wonderful stay we had! Sad that we didnât spend more time as really was a quick stop! I rung ahead and explained we were going to be a little late for check in (we were driving back to the UK from Spain) they couldnât have been more helpful! Lovely people, the most beautiful room (almost like a small apartment!) We had the family room which had 2 double beds and a single - for our family of 5 it was perfect! No doubt I would stay here again! Highly recommend!"
"The room was dated but clean and quiet and the hotel provided everything we needed for a one night stopover breaking a very long car journey.
Breakfast was good."
