This spot is where the Carsonia Amusement Park used to be located, the man made lake is still there but the rest is long gone, ducks, frogs and fish are plentiful. It's a nice place to take a walk. Or go swimming in the pool which is aside of it.

"Secluded, yet easily accessible. The feel of camping with all the perks that moms want such as a bed and bathroom with a shower. Our children absolutely loved our experience. The location was excellent and a lot of fun for my girls. A great place to relax and enjoy nature."

"Booked this wonderful property conveniently located w/i 1/2 mile of Bear Creek Mountain Resort. The photos really do not capture the quaint beauty of this modern cabin. The cabin was more lovely than the ad phots suggest and suited our vacation needs perfectly. And the host, Debbie, was attentive to make our stay even more enjoyable. The home itself was stunning, thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need (and more!), and meticulously clean. "The charming cabin is located in the prefect place that is secluded in the woods and close to Jim Thorpe’s main drag. The cabin is country and yet contemporary. Well stocked kitchen for your food prep and cooking. The beds extremely comfortable. And the best part is the gas fireplace with the recliner sofa in front of it. Nothing better than an after dinner drink watching TV in front of a warm fire. We plan on renting this place again. "
