3 Bedroom, 1 bath Lakefront cabin. Completely updated recently. Nature is abundant in this country setting surrounded by the sounds of frogs, birds singing, swans, beaver, musk rats and fishing. The cabin sits on a small 4 lake chain that is known for its privacy and being a NO wake and fishing sanctuary. You can relax with a book, kayak, or just tune in to the best that nature has to share with us, or perhaps remind us how far we have journeyed into the matrix of chaos.

This property worked out nicely for us while we were visiting our son @ Hillsdale College. The beds were comfortable. Water pressure for the shower was not awesome, but otherwise we enjoyed it.

Great weekend get away

My fiance and I came to stay here while we were attending a friends weekend wedding down the road. It was perfect location to the venue and the house was just right for what we needed! It was a bit chilly and raining while we were there so we did not get to enjoy the outside amenities as we hoped, but hope to stay here again in the future!

This is a great little lake cottage. If you’re looking for a basic cottage to enjoy a little getaway, this fits the bill. The owners are very nice and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

Relaxing!

Super clean inside, we caught fish and enjoyed the wildlife. The Swans had babies and lots of birds to watch! We would definately recommend this location to friends.

Peaceful Location

This lake home is in a peaceful, relaxing location. We enjoyed the row boats, kayaks, and the fire pit. It was a great place to refresh and get away from busy, everyday responsibilities.

Simple and sweet

We wanted a quiet weekend away to fish/relax and that's exactly what we got. The house is super cute and the lake was great. Rhonda was great! Will stay again.

Quiet get away

Lovely home just (literal) steps from the water. Water wasn’t swim friendly but lent a beautiful background for morning coffee and evening fires. Close enough to things to do and places to eat.

Great family weekend

We had a wonderful time here! Such a quiet and peaceful setting. We booked this property specifically to watch the Perseid meteor shower, and were treated to so much more! We were lucky enough to see the Norther Lights over the lake too! Had a great time taking the pontoon around the lake, and grilling on the quaint back porch. Being able to have our dog with was awesome as well!

Wonderful place

If you can handle a lot of steps and having the bathroom upstairs, the place is great. Minor inconvenience for major view and peaceful setting. We really loved it here. The owners are really nice, too Hope to come back someday.

Perfect for the family

I stayed here with my family (including the doggos) and we had an amazing time. The location is quiet, peaceful, and so so pretty. The hosts were amazing and very communicative, super responsive to any questions/requests. We spent most of the time fishing and kayaking, the lake is perfect for both. We actually had good luck fishing which never happens for us! lol will definitely stay here again

Nice quiet place

We enjoyed our stay. We are originally from the Reading, and still have family there. We wanted to be close by and have all the amenities this cottage had Vs staying in a hotel. It was a nice quiet place to stay. It was very clean and overall a great place. I bet it is even more amazing in the summer. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay.

Relaxing peaceful get away!!

We had the most amazing time at this cabin! The cabin is clean, cute and so peaceful! We rented the pontoon boat that was available too, which just added to our enjoyment! Rhonda and her husband were quick to respond and so friendly! We feel like we made new friends! If you are looking for a peaceful, beautiful nature get away this is your place! We will definitely be back!

Great place on the lake

This is our second time renting from Rhonda. A different house than we rented before but just as nice. Perfect size for 3 adults and our maltipoo dog. House was beautiful and well taken care of. Nice bonus being able to rent the pontoon boat to tool around the lake. Had a great time and will see ya next year.

It was a beautiful property right on a lake, we enjoyed our stay immensely and I wish we could’ve stayed longer. I loved that there were kayaks available, and the wooded setting. The house itself was very nice and cozy, with a great selection of dvds. We saw a hummingbird flying around the back patio. It was just a very quiet and peaceful setting, which is exactly what I wanted.

Relaxing place on the lake.

My family went for my husbands birthday weekend. We ended up having amazing weather. My son fished all weekend but didnt catch anything, the most amazing part was seeing a couple of beavers swimming in the lake around dusk. It was the relaxing weekend my family needed and we will definitely be back.
