Hotel was clean and modern. Room had a comfortable king bed and very nice water view. Room was slightly smaller than average but the bathroom was very small; the door cleared the front of the toilet by only about 1/2 inch. Bathroom also had no exhaust fan so showers resulted in a lot of steam build-up. Booked this expensive hotel to take advantage of the excellent location near the Vogel Theatre and downtown restaurants but ended up eating at the hotel restaurant and Ubering back and forth to the Vogel as my wife ended up having a mobility issue after we had already made the reservation. Restaurant service was excellent, food was okay. Overall, the stay was very nice but considering the price paid, we would probably have stayed elsewhere if we knew we wouldn't be walking.

The room decor has been updated and is very nice but the bathrooms need to be refreshed. There were tiles that were discolored or cracked and the shower was difficult to use. On the plus side, they were very quick to send someone up to look at the shower. I would definitely return. Ask for a room with a view of the river...amazing!

We stayed in a lake view king room. The room was clean. The view as beautiful! Friendly staff only negative was there was no fan or window in the bathroom so showering caused quite a bit of steam.

The air conditioning system in the room vacillated from turning on, getting very cold and making a loud noise to turning off and leaving the room hot and humid. This went on all night long resulting in a horrible sleep experience awaiting each cycle. The system was not as "smart" as we were led to believe. There is no fan in the bathroom. The hotel is located in the middle of a construction site. There were no bell hops available to help senior citizens such as my wife and myself with transporting our luggage from the car to our room leaving us to man handle the very heavy carts on our own. The water tasted foul. The restaurant was nice, but the spicing of our food was unexpected and we did not enjoy the lobster roll and chips at lunch because of it. The morning staff did not seem awake enough to bring the correct orders to our table for breakfast on first try. There was no microwave in the room which was surprising. The view of the water from our room was pleasant but did not make up for all the negatives. I can see water from many hotels and restaurants.

Fabulous King with floor to ceiling windows of the open water. Dining at the restaurant, whether inside or outside, was delicious and offered breathtaking views. The staff were all exceptional friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to return!
