"Our stay at this property was even better than expected. The location on the Eastern shore is breathtaking. The owners have truly tried to think of everything you might need. They were very responsive to questions before our visit. Don't be shy in asking as some things they have provided are not on the list of amenities. We love King's county and this was a great location to be surrounded by all there is to see and do. We WILL be back. "
"Staying at the Johnson Shore Inn truly felt like a home away from home. We especially enjoyed winding down each day in the cozy dining room, savouring delicious meals and great conversations with fellow guests. Our room was beautifully decorated, peaceful, and offered a perfect place to relax. The breakfast was enormous and delicious!
The setting is stunning—perched on red cliffs with breathtaking sunsets every evening. Mel and Dave are fantastic chefs, so be sure to include at least one dinner during your stay (we were lucky to enjoy three!). A special highlight was the evening we were treated to oysters and bubbly before dinner—such a thoughtful touch.
The spacious dining area offers individual tables for each party, so there's no need to worry about communal seating if that’s not your style. Don’t hesitate to book this charming inn—you’ll arrive as guests and leave feeling like part of the family."
"Clean, quiet, and comfortable! Good location to explore the eastern part of the island. Charlottetown is just over an hour away. Beds were comfortable. AC was really nice for the humidity. Friendly staff.
Fridge in the room is handy for small food items but cannot fit a medium sized pizza box from Greco Pizza. Restaurants in Souris close at 8, so you gotta plan your evenings accordingly.
View of the ocean was nice each morning and evening.

Would highly recommend it to family and friendsWell need to repair the bathroom tap set. The water runs over the side of the tap which is leaking on you sink and down the side of the wall. But it is a beautiful seeet place"
"This is a very nice place to relax and take it easy. Note, if more than two rooms are occupied, one bathroom will need to be shared. The "barn" is very quirky with bedrooms, bathrooms, living room, large kitchen but this is what makes it charming. If one wants to spend a night in splendid isolation, thats the place. Note you will need to eat before getting there or bring your own grocery as the nearest place to eat is far. The kitchen is well equipped, so one can turn out gourmet meals."

"We loved our time here - we really felt like we were away from everything! The kids loved exploring the beach, which was full of shells. I loved looking out at the water. The house was plenty big for our family of 4 as the second bedroom contained 2 beds. I really appreciated the list of area attractions Cathy sent us before we arrived. It really helped us plan out what we would do during our time on the island!"
