Wonderful stay. Only small issue was that some of the pots and utensils weren’t clean/seemed very old and run down. Loved seeing the deer and ducks every morning and evening and this is a great, easy walk right to town. Will definitely stay again!
Had such a fun family getaway there! It is in a convenient location for walking into town and the back deck with the River right there was icing on the cake! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us! We will be back!
Loved this lil place on the river! Our home away from home. Perfect location on west edge of town, walking distance to lifts, Der Market and restaurants. Quiet hideaway even during busy music fest weekend. Older property that needs a lil attention to upper balconies but very clean. Great for couples or families. Hope RiverJohn is available next time we are in Red River.
We were pleased with the cleanliness of the entire place. There was plenty of firewood. Kitchen had all we needed to prepare and serve our meals (loved the heavy duty blender). Plenty of very hot water. The view of the stream from the back patio was lovely. The lighted Christmas tree was a very nice touch. We would rent this again!

Such an adorable little cabin!
The location was so perfect! The large living room windows gave us a fabulous view of the fishing ponds and mountains, the deck in the back was perfect for our morning workout, the kitchen was very well equiped with everything we needed to do a little cooking, and to be honest, I couldn't find a single thing wrong with this property. Our group consisted of myself and 2 adult daughters and 1 infant. The two bedrooms worked perfectly. We'll definitely rent this property again!
Property was nice, clean and in a great location. It had most everything we needed in the kitchen. Beds were comfortable.
Could use some basic updates. Example -Shower head in bunk room needs replacing, handle came off of the oven and we had to repair it, front panel on dishwasher kept popping off, sliding doors would not lock. Internet and wifi were unreliable.
This place is great about 11 months out of the year but not in July. No ac like most in RR but we knew to bring our fans. No trees for shade so this unit gets super hot in the day, one night was 85 inside the west facing room. Screen doors all messed up so house full of bugs bc you have to leave open for air. The set up is great, big beds in guest room for kids with own shower. 1/2 bath down on ground floor is nice. Deck is good space with a nice gas grill. Not much parking especially a truck bc it’s a 3 plex. Need to park your trailer up by the park. If winter for sking this place and location would be hard to beat.

my stay
No number to call office we had to contact vrbo to get info also there was no firewood on site the house was dusty everywhere we had to wipe everything down. No batteries in tv remote. We never got the info pack for location- time- address etc... once again we had to call vrbo so they could help us then they sent the email to us. Kitchen was not stalked up at all like they said it would be.
The home was well used and in need of some TLC
Red river was hot. The home has no AC, no box fans to pull air in from outside, no screen on front door and the back door screen was ripped because the screen door does not open correctly. There may be very little insects but the doors being open means the critters can sleep with you. I had my tools with me and if I had a motor for the dryer, I could have repaired it myself in an hour. The wood rot by the bathtub would not get so bad if you would stay up with the caulking. We did not cook in the kitchen but coffee, hot tea, and microwaved leftovers. cleaning the dishware was a challenge in a dishwasher that would fall out when you load it. That is probably why the door is broken. This is about what I was expecting so I was not let down and we had a great time.
Wonderful customer service but not sure what housekeeping does
The house has a great location. Easy walk to lifts and anything in town. Our first night we were miffed making dinner when the gas for the grill ran out 5 minutes after starting to cook. Although there were plenty of pots, there weren’t any baking dishes and one tiny scratched up omelette pan. I was frustrated and texted the property management. Amazingly she was there 25 min later with a fresh gas canister, new pans, and baking dishes. Fabulous service!
The only negative was all the housekeeping warnings. We always leave places we stay clean but the rules left me wondering what the money we pay for housekeeping was for. You have to clean everything, run dishwasher, and strip the beds. Sounds like they put clean dishes away, run a load, and make beds. I don’t like worrying if I did a good enough job scrubbing kitchen and vacuuming when I am trying to pack up and get out by 10am.
The townhouse was nice. The stream flowing behind the house was so peaceful sleeping with the doors open. Handy for grandkids to fish. Parking a little tricky with a trailer. Would stay there again
Very nice and cozy. Parking is very tight especially if there are others staying at the other 2 condos connected. Needs a few kitchen items such as hot pads and a large frying pan. We loved the back patio with access to the river behind the house.
