"Perfect spot to stay overnight as we traveled to South Carolina from Pennsylvania. The hotel is practically brand new and a perfect location to the city of Harrisonburg and accessible immediately to the highway. Great little breakfast to get you started in the morning. Great value great property, well worth it."

"I was traveling on a strict budget and price was the main factor for choosing this hotel. There were no extras such as a gym-the outdoor pool was in need of a facelift. They did provide breakfast, which was very minimal. However, the lady at the front desk always had a smile, remembered my name and was very pleasant at every interaction. The room itself was dated, but the bed was comfortable and the shower was very powerful. overall, my stay was positive for the cost of the room. I can’t complain as it was Clean and I did get what I paid for. Again the lady at the front desk made all the difference in whether I would come back or not and yes if I was traveling by myself, I would stay there again. If I was traveling with my family, I would choose a different hotel."

"Lovely, quiet setting with a nice walk up old the logging road. Pretty birds, wildflowers, and fungi. Everything was comfortable, clean, and well stocked. I love that you can turn the outdoor lights off and see a dark sky."

"The inside of the cabin is magical with all the fairy lights! The kitchen is organized and well stocked with like new everything! A rare find in my experience and greatly appreciated! We spent lots of time in the wonderful deck where we saw eagles and hummingbirds and all kinds of wonderful critters! The campfire area with chairs just inside the basement door was great! We think some of the beds could use an upgrade especially if more adults are staying. The linens and blankets are top notch! The location is absolutely ideal as well. The host is great. Do take heed if you have mobility issues as the steps to the bedrooms are steep. We would have also enjoyed a regular drip coffee pot in order to enjoyed our preferred coffee brand and ability to make a large pot of coffee!"
