Salmon Reservoir is 8 miles long and known for salmon fishing, walleye, perch and pike. September and October are most attractive months due to fall foilage and fishing. No hunting on the premises.

This is our family’s second time staying here. We had a blast kayaking, fishing, swimming, exploring, relaxing by the campfire and visiting with family. Very comfortable stay and a great location. Looking forward to coming again!

Been having our annual fishing trip at this residence for the past 5 years. The property is spacious both inside and out, and with the inclusion of the new game room, makes rainy days managable. The host is very responsive and the views are amazing. Highly recommend.

This house is located on a very beautiful piece of property on the reservoir. The outside amenities were wonderful. We would definitely stay here again. The property manager allowed us early entry as well which was a bonus!

Been coming here for the past few years. The owner is accommodating and communicative, providing all of the details ahead of the trip. The house is large with great views of the reservoir, and the outside area is large enough for games or just hanging by the shore. Highly recommend.

The pictures do not do this place justice. A beautiful home, with the best views. Peaceful, and perfect for some family time, and recharging. Kayaks were a nice bonus.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. The property has everything you could think of apart from your choice of food and beverage. This is a large property with plenty of space to get away, whether that be from people in general or just some quiet time to read. We loved the sunrises next to the water with a cup of coffee and fishing from the dock.

Our family loved this place! Short drive to sylvan beach, we were lucky enough that the town was having an Olde home days we went to. It was a perfect quiet spot on the lake. We would looooove to go back! If you get a chance visit this house. If we had known it was ATV country we would have brought ours! We loved it, felt right at home and the house was sooo spacious for 7 Thanks for letting us stay!

My buddies and I have been getting a cabin every Fall for our Guy’s weekend going on 10 years now. We go all over NY state with a new spot every years. This is the first property we went back to a second time. The amenities, the owners, the location, beauty, and price has this place as one of the all time best in upstate New York!

We stayed at this rental property for a long weekend in July with two adults and 5 teenagers and had a fantastic time. The house is large and set up with several seating areas both inside and out that worked really well for our group. The house is very private and the swimming is excellent-the water is very deep near the dock and swimming platform, so the kids were able to jump off and swim with no issues. We brought our own kayaks, but there were also kayaks there and it was fun to paddle out to the various islands and backsets. The large fire pit and lawn games were an added bonus. The owner was very responsive and accommodated a request we had very well. I would definitely stay here again for a longer visit.

Mark was a phenomenal host. We brought our boat with us and had some trouble finding the boat launch. Mark happily answered our call, and gave us directions. We kayaked, fished, ate good food , and enjoyed quiet family time together! We inadvertently left 2 kayak paddles, and Mark graciously let us come back to get them several hours after check out and left them in an easy spot to pick up. Honestly, the only complaint I could come up with is mosquitos! Thank goodness for bug spray! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had a great time, Really enjoyed the swimming dock, the kayaks, boating, fishing and easy access. The biggest issues we had were the level of mosquitoes, it made almost impossible to enjoy the outside areas of the property as much as we would have liked. Also with no A/C and a very humid temperature during our days there it was very warm in the house. We were allowed to bring our own A/C and we made it work. The owners were very accommodating with this request from us and of course there is no way to control bugs.

Just as advertised this is a large modern house that sits on a huge private wooded area right on the Salmon Reservoir. The house is cozy and clean. There is a large flat screen in the living room a room with a ping pong table, a dining area and a big kitchen. The three bedrooms upstairs are all ample sized. We've stayed at this house 3 times for Salmon River fishing trips and every time it was a blast. Its very private, we've never seen another person there. The owner is very accommodating. There is a large fire pit outside and a picnic table on the shore to enjoy beautiful water views. The reservoir itself is amazing for fishing, swimming, kayaking or any other water activities. We are definitely coming back to this house in the future.

Mark and Jacki were very welcoming and responsive to my many questions. The house is comfortable and fit our needs perfectly. We enjoyed using the kayaks, the swim dock, the grill and the campfire area. Although the water level was very low, we were able to swim and the area by the swim dock was free from seaweed. The view was always interesting with a variety of birds providing great entertainment as they found fish. There was very little boat traffic as the cottage is off the main body of water, mostly kayaks... very peaceful during the week. Don't forget your bug spray. The owner does provide some bug repelling devices but those mosquitos were sneaky! Even with a few days of rain, we loved our week at this cottage and look forward to returning.
