"The staff were all very kind and helpful. The hotel is a beautiful historic convent near many wonderful historicsites, including a Roman temple right beside the hotel. The pool and surrounding cafe/bar area are gorgeous. The rooms are small and could use a renovation; our AC units were loud in the early am and the shower & bath are a bit awkward/cramped. It was a great space for us with a grown child because she was able to stay in a separate living area. For the price and to see Evora, I highly recommend."

"Overall excellent for the price. Located just outside the old town of Évora which is easily accessible with a 10 minute walk. Nespresso machine in the room - no instant coffee! Hurray! Breakfast was delicious with a good choice and even included the option of freshly cooked waffles and omelette."

"A beautiful property in the heart of Évora, with truly outstanding staff. Ana at reception was amazing — she went above and beyond, helping us with parking and a smooth check-in. We loved the ambience of this boutique hotel, and the location was perfect, within easy walking distance of all of Évora’s major sights. Breakfast was delicious, with a great spread to choose from. Highly recommend Ciciosa Boutique Hotel in Évora — an absolute must-stay!"
