"Building itself is outdated, however it was VERY clean the water pressure on the shower was lovely, and staff were so accommodating! We came for a hockey tournament, and they set aside a whole room for the kids to play shinny. (Which is very cool considering we've been almost kicked out of other hotels for this reason). I also brought my dogs to the hotel and they allowed us to leave our dogs in the room, and let us know that they would just call us if there ever was a problem. The breakfast is delicious, and they told us that if we stay again, they would be able to work out dinners as well! (For 25 people ) 10/10 recommend! "

"When I arrived I was shocked to find that I booked the wrong dates. Thankfully, the understanding staff found a way so we would have a room for the night. The area is so tranquil; there's a nearby trail that parallels a river. Short distance from the hotel is a boulevard lined with a few shops and a Detroit-style pizza place. The place was built in the early 1900s, so it definitely has an old charm to it. The rooms were clean; bed comfortable; bathroom was clean as well. If I decide to visit Aspen again or Glenwood Springs, I would book a hotel stay here. It is an hour away from Aspen (stayed the night before heading to see Maroon Bells); but the drive wasn't too bad, and the price was reasonable. "
