"We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful cottage. Stunning sunny spot, close to town and hill walks. We loved exploring the area on foot. The cottage has absolutely everything you need and is beautifully presented. Thank you Belinda and Mark, we’ll be back! "

The property is set in a beautiful location, surrounded by established trees and only about 7 minutes from Mapua.The quality of the home, the decor, all of the supplies is first class. "It was unfortunate that we had heavy rain and the roof leaked. The whole place was damp and the carpet spelt of wet dog. We arrived to a mouse in the kitchen, and the ants moved in overnight. The managers were thoughtful and responsive, however, the place was really not fit for living. Sorry, wasn’t cheap either. All very disappointing."

"Stunning location. Had everything we needed. Simple yet comfortable. Away from the main centre of Kaiteriteri and only 2minute walk to beach. Loved it. "

"We enjoyed hiking down the trail to Kaiteriteri each day, taking in the gorgeous views and bird calls. If it’s really hot, know that there is not AC and the windows don’t have screens on them to keep bugs out at dusk. At other times of day, we were able to open the windows and let cool air in. We enjoyed the kitchen that enabled us to cook some of our own food."

"Good for a large group, maybe two families although need to watch small children as areas of the garden might be quite dangerous. We booked just for two of us because it was a late booking and there was little available. Having paid the full price was a bit surprised to find only two towels in a house for 9 people. On asking for a spare towel was told ‘really short of linen especially towels’. Mostly clean but some issues. Generally house seems uncared for and but if you want ‘big’ it is OK"
