"I will not ding the property for things out of their control. This is a lovely place that has a major construction project underway next door. Traffic has been re-routed and getting into the parking lot is very confusing until you know. The hotel itself is beautiful, staff friendly and helpful, price is fair. Highly recommend!"

"The house was more than enough space for the two of us and would have been a good option even if we had brought the 3 kids. It was walkable to the business and restaurant area of Troutdale, where we particularly enjoyed Troutdale Station food trucks and Wayfinder Brewing Company. There were condiments and coffee items ready to go (only a Keurig is available though, so don't bother bringing your own coffee) which is always a nice surprise. We were thinking it was a bit closer to the Sandy River so we would have a view or be able to hear the water... not really. Not a knock on the house, just an observation. It's easily walkable. My only suggestions would be to add table lamps to the living room and master bedroom. It would have been nice to leave the overhead bright lights off when we got up early in the morning and be able to turn off the lights at night without getting back out of bed. Small item and easily addressed. There were absolutely no issues getting into the house at the beginning of our stay and no onerous tasks to be done prior to leaving, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, a very nice central location for experiencing multiple areas of Oregon. "
