"We had an amazing stay at the Manor House Hotel and Spa. We specifically wanted to stay in the historic house itself, and it did not disappoint. We stayed in Room 37, which, while traditional in style, was full of character—including a charming hidden bathroom that added to the unique experience. Every member of staff we encountered was exceptionally polite and friendly, making us feel truly welcome. The spa was clean and well-maintained, with robes provided upon entry and secure lockers with keys for convenience."

My room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with a very comfortable bed and a lovely view of the gardens. The leisure facilities, including the pool and gym, were well-maintained and a fantastic bonus for a relaxing break. The staff were consistently helpful, friendly, and professional. From check-in to check-out, they made me feel genuinely welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Dining at the hotel was also a pleasure — the food was fresh, well-prepared, and served in a lovely setting. Breakfast had a great range of options, catering to different tastes. Location-wise, it’s ideal — close enough to Darlington town centre yet tucked away enough to feel like a peaceful retreat.
