"It was the cutest experience. It’s not a stay it is an experience. The host is truly the most beautiful person full of history and stories. Every single thing in this house has a story and I enjoyed learning so much during the tour. The breakfast was amazing and a beautiful spread. I can never stay at a hotel after this. I will always look for bed and breakfast first. Oh! And so many photo opportunities all around the house in porch and yard. It was perfection. Also not haunted 🤗"

"The air conditioner had a moldy smell that made the entire room unpleasant during our stay. Also, I genuinely do not understand why La Quinta uses incredibly small pillows on their beds. Each bed had three tiny square pillows that weren’t even standard size, much less appropriate for a queen bed. Why are hotels doing this now? It feels like comfort and convenience for travelers are being sacrificed to cut costs. Guests shouldn’t have to travel with their own pillows just to get a decent night’s sleep. For that reason alone, I will not be staying at La Quinta Inn again."

"Roaches. Hair in the tub. Window unit that kept shutting off and had hair caked around side of contr panel. Continental breakfast included no protein. Non-smoking room reeked of smoke. Not sure where the glowing reviews came from. Only reason I didn't give it 1 star was front desk staff was nice. And I've stayed in worse--straw mattress on the floor, hole in the floor for communal bathroom with wash bucket for toilet paper in 1971. Ah, the good old days"
