"It was a lovely, clean house with everything one could need. The owner was always quick to respond to any questions I had. Outside of the city, so you will definitely need a car. But Caldas da Rainha and Óbidos are a conveniently nearby. It also has a spacious, well fenced yard that kept my escape artist dog safe. I highly recommend it."

Their communication was phenomenal, the location was picturesque, and if they didn't have it, they were quick with a great recommendation. We were fortunate enough to be here for Carnaval and were less than a 10 minute walk from the joyous festivities. "This was a hidden gem and a very interesting property in Obidos. It was fun to see all the books on every wall, nook and cranny ! Very unlike anywhere we have ever stayed. The restaurant was closed on Tuesday and Wednesday evening so we had to go out into the walked city which actually turned out very well. Breakfast in the Literary Man was really good with an amazing assortment of pastries! The property is definitely older and a little worn but had a lot of character ."
