We loved this property! It was located in a stunning location and was very well maintained. The included breakfast had many options. Only thing that would have been nice was a greek yogurt option vs just natural yogurt but other than that it was great.

Amazing conversion of an old convent, so unique. Rooms are lovely, breakfast was amazing and the staff, especially Susanna were warm and welcoming.

Magnificent building with very friendly staff. I had dinner at the convent which was great local dishes and very reasonably priced. The one minus is no pool - with hot dry weather a pool is a must!

Everything for this visit was better than advertised. It is in an old Convent, but they have redone everything and the rooms are very modern, but you can walk the whole building and see several hundred years of history. Anna is super helpful and makes sure everything is perfect. One of the most peaceful and inspiring places we have ever visited.

Beautiful, peaceful stay

This is a beautiful, peaceful hotel. The rooms are large, quiet, and comfortable, and the staff are wonderful. It would serve perfectly as a retreat and invites meditation. There are no TVs in the rooms, but there's a big TV in a common room. The building also houses artwork and small museums. It's a bit isolated. The restaurant wasn't open the night we were there, but we had a lovely dinner at a restaurant 700 meters away. You can also go to the castle for dinner. The hotel breakfast was wonderful.

A very charming and unique place to stay. The hotel is set in a former convent that has been beautifully converted while retaining much of its original character. The former nuns’ rooms have been transformed into comfortable, clean and pleasant guest rooms, making the experience quite special. The main downside is the lack of soundproofing. Conversations in the corridors can be heard very clearly from inside the rooms, which can become frustrating when other guests are not particularly considerate, especially late at night or early in the morning. There is also one rather unusual detail: the room key is attached to a small bell, reminiscent of the type of bell you might traditionally see around a goat’s neck! It is certainly original and perhaps intended as a charming touch, but in practice it creates unnecessary noise when guests return late or leave early. Personally, I would remove the bells — the idea is fun, but in a hotel where peace and quiet matter, they do more harm than good. Despite these points, I really enjoyed the character of the property and the way the former convent has been transformed. A beautiful and memorable place that could be even better with a little more attention to noise.

Das Hotel befindet sich in einem alten Konvent, welches entsprechend modernisiert wurde. In dem alten Gebäude gibt es jede Menge zu entdecken. Die Lage ist auch perfekt für einen Ausflug nach Monsaraz, was absolut sehenswert ist. Das Hotel verfügt zwar nicht über einen Pool, da aber der Strand des Stausees nur 5 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt ist, kein Problem
