"Roo.s were nice and bathrooms very clean. We stayed for 2 nights. We got new towels but beds weren't made. Tried to use on site washers and dryers but were out of service."

"It’s a great stay for visiting the dirty dancing hotel theme? Think the lake should have money spent on it to get it back to it being a lake that was disappointing! Also the hotel needs a bit of money spent on it not to update but to just tidy up simple things like paint and filler to make good areas"

"The property was clean and cute. It was spacious. Lewisburg is a small town and the property is located downtown just around the corner from restaurants. It is 6 or 7 miles from The Greenbrier if you want to check it out and about an hour from New River Gorge National Park. The bed and pillows were comfy and the shower was spacious with hot water and great water pressure which you don’t always get everywhere. The price seemed too low, so we were a little skeptical, but it was great and we highly recommend."

"Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful home. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the peaceful setting, breathtaking views, and the thoughtful touches throughout the house.The hosts, Bernie and Jessica were incredibly kind, welcoming, and responsive. Communication before and during our stay was excellent they were quick to answer questions and made the entire experience seamless.One of the things that made our stay especially meaningful was learning that this home was built by the owner’s grandfather’s home 100 years ago. You can truly feel the love and care that has gone into preserving its character while providing all the comforts needed for a relaxing getaway.The front porch quickly became our favorite gathering spot. The home was spotless, comfortable, well-equipped, and had everything we needed to cook meals, spend time together, and make lasting memories. The home was the perfect home base for all of our adventures.If you are looking for a place with beautiful scenery, rich history, genuine hospitality, and a peaceful retreat, this is it. We are so grateful for the opportunity to stay here and would gladly return. Thank you Bernie and Jessica for sharing such a special piece of your family’s legacy with us!"

"The reviews I read were very positive and accurate. We love staying on the water and this property is exceptional. So many times river properties are damp and moldy that is not the case. There are even ripples up stream to listen to!!There are a few minor quirky things mentioned in other reviews, but overall we couldn't have been happier. Our host was very responsive when we accidentally locked the door and did not have the code with us."
