"Friendly staff and facilities at the hotel are good. Nearest beach is a rocky beach. Last few KM of the road leading to the hotel is very poor. This section needs to upgrade and possibly out of hotel managements' control. They may need to coordinate with the neighboring hotels and the local authority. However, signs leading to the hotel from the main road is not very clear. Google maps lead to a circuitous route. Need to upgrade the signs leading to the hotel in every junction and this is under hotel management. "

"Amazing stay, even extended twice. The service is second to none, everything is no problem. From the amazing view of the sea to all the varied wildlife in the grounds, posse of monkeys visit every day drinking from the pool and generally being monkeys to peacocks, a mongoose, frogs, all the birds. Nick the owner is a friendly chap and clearly set the ethos of this place and is always around to help if needed. Kalpa and Umesh (managers) are great, absolute credit to the place. Can’t say a bad word, if we are back to Sri Lanka then a visit here will be on the cards again. We had 2 rooms, both great, outdoor showers, very clean, air con, amazing views over the lagoon, comfy beds. Best place we stayed in Sri Lanka, only left as we had plans. The beach is 2 min walk away past all the hermit crabs, we saw baby turtles going into the sea one evening just before they close the beach due to conservation. We then went another night with the turtle conservation next door and witnessed a turtle laying eggs. This place has it all."

"My wife and I had an amazing stay for our honeymoon. The location is so peaceful, with the beach behind the hotel being so beautiful. The food prepared at the hotel was simply stunning! We had a daily set menu with choices, and the menu was great, food portions were generous and tasted amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The only slight negative about this place is the wifi is very temperamental (not always a bad thing). It can feel a little sleepy through the day, but if you’re looking for undisturbed peacefulness, this place is perfect!"

"The property is wonderful with a great facilities!!! The villa was very clean, sofa bed was ready and the bed was very comfortable. AC or fan is in the rooms which is I founded very convenient. Beach towels are provided, so you don’t have to take from home. Bathroom is very clean, plenty of branded toiletries (smells amazing). I was missing a shower cap only (if you don’t want to get your hair wet under the shower, as sometimes you have to take few during the day). Towels are fresh and soft, feels like in the Spa. Pool area is spectacular!!! Most of the time we had it to ourselves. Restaurant is very cosy and inviting. Our breakfast was included in the price. The food was delicious. I would say that 4 pieces of toast for 3 people is not enough. I would recommend to have at least 2 toast per person and would be great to have a glass of fresh juice too. We have used restaurant for dinner and a lunch; good choice of meals (western) and few local options available. The staff is helpful and trying to accommodate every need. I would highly recommend this villa to my friends!!! The views are pictures!!!"

"I've been in Sri Lanka for a few months, so I can honestly say this getaway was a treat. Great location with Dickwella beach on one side and turtle point in the other. It was so exciting to swim with a gigantic sea turtle. Not crowded, lots of nice beach area. The hotel pool was lovely and clean, though it didn't feel chlorinated at all. Loved that they served drinking water in glass bottles which was a great touch. Staff were lovely. Roads around are chaotic, typical to Ski Lanka and a bit stressful to walk in some areas. Breakfast was a huge buffet and though I wasn't going to, I ate at the hotel both nights (so as not to walk around in the dark on my own) and was pleased. Staff were very helpful with my food allergy. I am hoping to stay here again! "
