Goed voor een kort verblijf.

Leuk hotelletje vlak naast het station van de spoorweg, maar het geluid van de treinen hindert nauwelijks. Netjes ingericht met alles voorhanden. Echter geen service tijdens de normale dag uren of na 21u00.

Gute Lage - nettes, überschaubares Hotel

Kleines Hotel direkt am Bahnhof das in den Charme der Stadt passt. Die Zimmer waren sauber. Das bad wurde modernisiert und ist ebenfalls sauber gewesen. Die Hotelbar und das Ambiente außen erinnert an eine nette Weinstube. Das Frühstück war für den Preis super! Gerne wieder.

Friendly helpful hotel

We urgently needed a hotel room unexpectedly when a friend was admitted to Remagen hospital. Everyone at the hotel was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble, whatever the request.

Just over the road from the train station

Room small, but clean, breakfast poor selection, evening meal not worth the cost of 16 Euros, no air conditioning, and no advance warning of building work front and rear of hotel, train noise all night and building work all day, not recommended, rated as 3 star, but at best only a 2 star, hotel owner very abrupt and not very friendly.

Beim Empfang gab es vermutlich unehrlichkeiten.

Also das war so. Ich kam gestern als Pilger hier an und habe vorher bei expedia gesucht was es kosten könnte. Als ich hier dann angegragt habe war angeblich alles belegt. Ich vermute um den Preis höher zu machen. Ich habe dann auf meine Info aus expedia hingewiesen. Der am Empfang meint das wäre nicht möglich. Nun ich habe dann über expedia gebucht und auch das Zimmer bekommen. Natürlich zu dem günstigeren Preis. :-) Dann wurde ich noch aufgefordert die Buchung über expedia zu stornieren man hätte eine Lösung gefunden. Der Chef war dann doch im Haus, vorher nicht zu sprechen. Also für mich nicht akzeptabel.

Local area shuts down early

The breakfast was great and helpful as I was attending a conference in Bonn. A warning though for those in a similar situation- most/all restaurants shut down by 8pm and are randomly not open some days of the week (besides Sunday) which makes getting food in the area impossible when it isn’t off peak and the hotel doesn’t serve dinner. Otherwise it was nice,quiet, and warm so a nice place to come back to and decompress after a long day.

Vielleicht habe ich überlesen, dass der HBF direkt gegenüber dem Hotel Pinger liegt, aber ab jetzt können wir jede Zugansage mitsprechen! Im Winter sicherlich kein Problem, im Sommer mit offenem Fenster - unerträglich! Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Frühstück ist prima, leider funktionierte der Getränkeautomat nicht - aber im Restaurant konnte man auch Getränke in Flaschen kaufen.

Die Lage in Bezug zur Erreichbarkeit der Rhein-Promenade ist top. Allerdings die direkte Lage zum Bahnhof, bzw. zur Bahnstrecke stellt nachts eine massive Lärmbelästigung dar! Parken für € 3,--/Tag ist fair und OK.
