Each day our beds were reset to our individual preferences and all the toiletry amenities were topped up with a fresh bottle of water per person. The view of the Valedrome stadium + timing of the race and weekend activities made our stay top notch! We just missed the public bath house but loved that it was part of the amenities available to hotel guests, along with bike rentals. The Forq was also a great restaurant /lounge space to come back to on our three day experience in Tamano. Overall- highly recommend to anyone visiting Naoshima and Teshima to anchor here! "

"Great hotel a few meters from Bikan Historical Quarter. Good standard size room, staff polite and professional, the onsen is a plus. The breakfast spread could be improved by providing more choices for western guests. All that rice and fish were too much for the western taste. A cereal or yoghurt wouldn’t hurt. "

"The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel generally felt relaxing and pleasant, and the staff were really helpful. I liked the pyjamas so much I bought a set! The hotel also gives you access to a local onsen which was a lovely treat at the end of the day. The only quibble was the breakfast which was good but perhaps not quite worth the money - we had better breakfasts for less elsewhere. But other than that, I really enjoyed it stay at this hotel and would greatly recommend it."

"While I found out that they stopped providing afternoon tea that is still posted on their website, the location is excellent, only 3 minutes away from the charming Bikam district, where you can enjoy the Japanese traditional houses and river side where any generation can find something to enjoy."
