It's hard to choose where to spend your time between the main floor, the upper deck, or the water-level veranda/dock, but you can't really go wrong. Hiking and biking are just out the door, the Laggerhof is right up the hill for a meal or a drink, and the ferry stop next door will take you wherever you like (and back)...

"Es war besser als beschrieben . Das Haus ist toll , die Lage ein Traum . Wir waren außerhalb der Saison , sprich , wir waren mit unserem Hund da oben so gut wie alleine . Ansonsten ist es natürlich voller . Besonders positiv zu erwähnen ist Manuela , die Damen , welche das Haus betreut . So nett und hilfsbereit . Vielen Dank, wir kommen gerne wieder :)."

"Die Vermieter sind überdurchschnittlich nett und nahbar, sehr herzlich. Wir habe die Zeit in der kuschligen Hütte sehr genossen. Alles wirkte wie neu. Besonders angenehm fand ich auch, dass die Ausstattung nicht wie bei anderen Ferienwohnungen sonst oft so zusammengewürfelt wirkte: "Ach brauchen wir nicht mehr, stellen wir es in die Ferienwohnung". Das war hier nicht der Fall. Der Pellets-Ofen hat die romantische Hütte schön mollig warm gemacht. Absolute Empfehlung."

"Onze vakantie met 2 zoons van 14 en 16 was echt super hier! 3 mountainbikes en 2 gewone fietsen waar we veel gebruik van gemaakt hebben. Ook staat er een bbq met houtskool voor je klaar. De bedden zijn heerlijk. Ga je over het riviertje dan kom je bij een camping (burgstal) uit. En natuurlijk ook bij de prachtige Millstattersee. Met de Karinthië card kun je echt je lol op in deze omgeving!"

We went skiing everyday by car in Bad Kleinkirchheim (20mins). The parents walked a lot in the area. We would love to come back another time. Greetings Marian"

"We had a joyfull familie experience in Austria from this location. The home gives a good feeling of living in Austria. Big garden , carpark facilities, rooms are all neat, looking over the mountains from the balconies. We did mis a livingroom with cauches, instead there was plenty space in dining format. Interior is from the 1980ś, overall in good condition. For questions the owner could be reached by E-Mail getting a quick response. I would recomment this home for a stay and base to check out...

"gezellig en mooi ingericht huis. Een goed uitgeruste keuken met allerlei benodigdheden. De indeling van het huis paste jammergenoeg niet bij de samenstelling van ons gezelschap waardoor we samen met de kinderen op de kamer moesten slapen. Aangezien de zetel in de woonkamer geen echt slaapbank was, sliep mijn broer in de ene kamer en wij met ons gezin in de andere kamer. Jammer dat zo'n groot huis slechts 2 slaapkamers heeft. Ook de slaapbank van de kinderen was bijzonder hard om op te slapen. De...

"Zum Wandern und Ski fahren super ausgangspunkt. Raumaufteilung super. Sauna erfüllt ihren zweck. Sauberkeit könnte etwas besser sein.( Staubig, verschmutzte Fensterscheiben, Küchen geschirr zum teil kaputt/gesplittert) Bad und Betten waren sauber, frisch überzogen. Haus weißt leider einige Mängel auf. Kaminofenglas defekt, Feuer machen somit nicht möglich. Schiebetüren zur Terrasse beide defekt, lassen sich nicht richtig öffnen/schließen! Eingangsbereich kein Licht, defekt. Kein Warmwasser mehr...

"Staying in a 300 year old house was absolutely wonderful! The owners have done a fantastic job renovating the original structure. All the newest kitchen appliances and bathroom amenities were incorporated into the landmark home. The best was the "grotto" sauna/shower downstairs! Fabulous! "The rooms (more appartments) are huge, 10p can sleep here although that might be somewhat crowded. The hotel is opposite the funicular railway which connects walkways in the mountains between Flachau, Wagrain and St Johan. Especially fun for families with kids, there is a lot to do! The food is great and so is the staff. COVID-19 measurements in the restaurant: it’s buffet style and everyone uses a plastic glove on one hand so no one touches anything. The staff wears facemasks.
