"My friend and I had an amazing trip while staying at the little pirate house. Its location was close enough to get to everything but off the path enough for privacy and quiet at night. We loved Monterosso and all of Cinque Terre and especially enjoyed learning how the history of the dates related to the property. "Perfectly located in the old town of Montarosso. Spic and span, small but thoughtfully put together! Only thing I would change is to add a topper to the mattresses they are very European and a bit of an adjustment for Americans. That said the bedrooms are so lovely!"

"Great location. Very poor communication with the property manager.We did not get the code to the lockbox , not even at check in at 3pm.Had to call several times the office of Terre marine. The lady did not have the code and stated that her colleague who does is busy.It took us almost an hour to get the code.The apartment is several steep steps up a very long staircase. "This place is small but well engineered to maximize use of space. If you need a place to relax while in your room this is not the place. Also we are avg size and it was tight for us. The only place to sit is in or on the bed. The bed frame is not designed for this but with pillows we made it work. The windows when closed completely silence the street noise. "Elena was a great host and accommodating. The door was open for us when we arrived a bit early and she was very communicative. The apartment is sweet and spacious. Wr stayed a week and had lots of everything we needed. The location is fantastic with an abundance of cafes and shops, a beach and beautiful park and piazza. Levanto is just outside the busy Cinque Terre villages - a short train ride, ferry, or in our case, a great hike in."
