"The staff were very friendly and helpful. They gave us great dinner recommendations. The beds were very comfortable. They host a campfire every night that anyone is welcome to join!"

"Very nice, new property. The loft does have its limitations with very sloped ceilings in the bathroom and by two of the beds. Easy to bang your head. Hot tub and wood fired sauna was nice. No dishwasher. Access to laundry was great. Very good communication. One other downside is that the thermostat is locked, so you can’t control it. I would recommend that the owners put in a Wi-Fi thermostat so that they can adjust it after you check out but let you make adjustments during your stay."

"Property was clean and convenient to Yellowstone National Park. Listing is accurate. Property is dated but perfectly acceptable and was consistent with other properties in town. I appreciated the hotels heads up email which clearly outlined that many businesses in Cooke City would be working with limited staff and abbreviated menus and some had already closed for the season. This is a good mountain town experience and not a spa. Enjoyed the stay and loved being minutes from Lamar Valley."

"Loved this property! I was afraid it would be a little small but the studio was actually perfect for us and exactly what we needed. Silvergate and Cooke city were very cute little towns and you absolutely can’t beat the proximity to Yellowstone and it made Lamar Valley dawn/dusk trips so accessible for wildlife viewing. The studio cabin was up to date, clean and secure. Cell service was poor but that was explained to us beforehand and really not important to us considering the nature of our vacation (to disconnect and just enjoy nature). There also is WiFi in case of emergency, so that helps peace of mind if we needed it. Overall we had such a wonderful experience and the Twisted Twig cabin really made our trip even better! I would love to come back with more family one day and rent out the main cabin sometime."

"The cabin was very clean and cozy. It was conveniently located near the Lamar Valley where the wildlife was plentiful and the landscape was beautiful. The host was very easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again if we go to Yellowstone again."

"Given the specifics of the house I knew I was in for a great experience but it was far beyond my expectations. The seclusion and privacy that accompanied the house was amazing. We only had to walk outside and were able to hike not only the short trek to Bridal Falls but also could head west and soon be on the Bannock ski trail that took us right in to Yellowstone.We could walk up the road to to enjoy the delicious ice cream at Stop the Car Trading PostThe house was meticulously clean and full of personal mementoes that made it feel so cozyMendy was always just a text away for me with any last minute questionsNothing like a cup of coffee on the balcony while the mule deer grazed in the yard!"
