"A hotel set in beautiful surroundings. The staff were very friendly and welcoming to us and the dog. The room was a good size and had a balcony with a hammock and lake view. The breakfast was good, with freshly cooked eggs. The food in the evening was a bit limited; only one choice of a main meal but there were numerous bar snacks and sharing platters. Not really a problem though, as there was a restaurant 5 minutes walk down the road. In all a very enjoyable stay"

"Place is wonderful, clean with an amazing view on the mountains. Very good restaurant at a walkable distance. Breakfast was very good also. There was a dog barking 2-3 times during the night ( both nights)that we could hear from our room… other than that our stay was perfect! We recommend!"

"Beautiful secluded house in the mountains. Stunning pool surrounded by flowers and the forested hills. The house is chic in a vintage modernist style, something that the kind owners are clearly proud of and happy to share with guests. It was a good space for our party of 6 and happy times spent exploring the Parc de Geres with lakes and waterfalls. Air con worked very well when needed, the kitchen is well equipped and several spaces to sit for dining and around the house. The theme of a 'Zen" space is very appropriate; we all felt calm and peaceful in this lovely spot, and dropped down to the small town often ( especially to visit the extraordinary Hotel Universal like something from a 1950s film!)Just a note for any guests with mobility issues - the glorious pool is accessed by a steepish slope up the rear garden.A very happy vacation spent here. Thank you to Antonio and his wife."
