"We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad. We waren met een gezin van 4 en met drie slaapkamers had iedereen een prima plek. Bedden waren goed en comfortabel. Verder een ruim huis met grote keuken en aparte woonkamer. Mooie locatie die je het terras op trekt om het dal te bekijken. Het huis was van alle gemakken voorzien. "We stayed at the villa for two weeks - 4 adults and 1 young child. The villa was great. The listing shows many of its features but in reality it is even better. The villa and grounds cover a large area allowing people to either be together or to find an area to relax by themselves. The many fruit trees and their fruit also added to the overall feeling of the villa as a place to relax.The villa was clean and all bed linen/towels were good quality and changed during the stay. "Amazing accommodation. D’Autor village is a beautiful property composed of several small villas, with a great pool that overlooks the valley. Please is spotless, with great hospitality and very nice staff that is always there to help and answer any questions you may have. Breakfast was plentiful and very good. Property is located in the Vinho verde region so expect some travelling if you’d like to visit the Douro valley."

"The check-in left me at the gate for 1.5 hours when the key code was not working. It took a while to reach someone on the contact numbers. On day 2 the key code for the main house was not working. It took even longer to get someone on the phone but they were unable to get assistance for 3 hours. I was between the door and my car for 3.45 hours. The temperature was a cold 41 degrees This ruined what would have been a good stay."

10/10 Excellent

"The place is absolutely beautiful. We had a meal in the restaurant which was outstanding. My only gripes were with the check in. I explained that we were leaving on the 8am train in a few days. They said that it might be difficult to get a taxi and gave me a card with taxi numbers on it but did not offer to arrange it for me. They then got us to drag our heavy suitcases to our room which was quite a distance away and up a bit of a hill. It was boiling when we arrived so this was not great. I was expecting them to take it to the room for us win. the buggy carts they had at the property. Finally they did not put us in a room next to our children. Despite this initial poor impression the rest of our stay was excellent and I wouldd highly recommend the place."

"Our stay was relaxing and enjoyable. A slight delay with check in at 3pm. Our room wasn’t ready til after 4pm. I suppose it is to be expected in peak summer season. They stored our bags and we had a quick swim. Our luggage was delivered to our room and we received a bottle of wine in our room chilled ready to enjoy. The room was fabulous with gorgeous views of the Douro Valley, and the pool area relaxing. Room service was delicious and convenient. The staff were very helpful and accommodating to all of our requests. A special mention on the excellent service of Rui Cardoso. We booked a wine and cheese tasting experience on our first day. Thank you Rui for explaining all the different cheese and wine pairings. Thoroughly enjoyable. Breakfast was extravagant with a wide variety of food and beverages and a great coffee machine. Delicious. Plenty of car-parking available. Thanks for a great stay. "

"This place far exceeded my expectations. The room was beautiful, fancy rain shower in the bathroom, large balcony overlooking the valley. It’s not a big place, maybe 12 rooms in total, so it was very quiet. The pool was lovely, also overlooking the valley. Breakfast was included and it was a great variety. Staff are very friendly and no language barrier for English. It’s up the hill about a 15 min walk from the train station and main area of the town. I highly recommend this as a place to stay in Pinhao. "

"Lovely hotel. Breakfast was really nice. Pool was amazing. We were in the family room and it was very spacious with proper beds for the kids. Didn’t eat at the restaurant as it wasn’t suitable for my kids but the staff recommended other local restaurants. No bar however they serve drinks and charcuterie. Would happily stay again"
