"Pros: The house was very well equipped and host was always available , one of our best stays. Cons: Cannot complain about anything, everything was to very high standards!"

"We stayed at the villa for two weeks - 4 adults and 1 young child. The villa was great. The listing shows many of its features but in reality it is even better. The villa and grounds cover a large area allowing people to either be together or to find an area to relax by themselves. The many fruit trees and their fruit also added to the overall feeling of the villa as a place to relax. The villa was clean and all bed linen/towels were good quality and changed during the stay. The kitchen was...

"Love it! So calm and peaceful"

"Everything about this spot was wonderful! The views are spectacular, we felt like we were living in a postcard. The house was so clean and cozy. Giselle was so easy to communicate with - the driving instructions were very complete, and she checked in during our stay. There was even a bottle of port and some cookies when we arrived. 10/10!!"

"Beautiful property, both the studio and pool area were well thought out and really enjoyable. Great breakfast basket provided and drinks available at the pool"

"This is a totally different hotel concept to the standard elsewhere. There is no reception or housekeeping staff, only personnel to provide the breakfast each morning. That means you can get a room more cheaply, as the hotel operator has lower costs that are partly passed on to guests. My room wasn´t cleaned, the bin emptied or sheets changed in the four days that I was there, but I can live with that. The doors are operated using a code you type in, so there are no keys or passes you have to...

"If you are exploring the Douro Valley this home on the waterfall is a perfect oasis!! The pictures do not do this property justice - it truly is a paradise And Paula the caretaker is a delight. Do not hesitate if this is available - just book it right away."

"The room was modern and spotless, the views were beautiful, the breakfast was plentiful. Beatriz was an absolute angel, from making reservations at recommended restaurants, to organising taxis, she often checked in on us to see if we needed anything. What a wonderful find, I'm sure we'll be back! Thank you!"

"Ambiente muito simpatico e familiar"
