This was by far the most unique, amazing hotel we stayed at on the island of Crete. Upon arrival we were given fresh-squeezed lemonade made from their own lemon trees. The staff was so friendly! The building is over 500 years old, and nothing like I've ever seen before. The suite we got was huge, (living room, full kitchen, dining room, and bathroom downstairs and 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs). We had our own private patio and a back door that led right to the pool. The town and the people who live there are all so great! Everything is within walking distance and is totally safe. If you're looking for a hotel that gives you that real Greek life feeling, this is your place! Arcus Suites is a hidden gem for sure... We WILL be back!

A small piece of Paradise on earth

The little village of Agyroupolis where Arcus is located is very quiet and charming. It got a great local feel of Greek countryside and many friendly locals, well used to tourists dropping by, to see the historical places they offer. Arcus I located a couple of minutes from the main square, easy to get to by car or feet. It’s a bunch of old houses, surrounded by a very green and exotic inner garden with a little pool. Our room was located at the 1st floor level, with a beautiful view to the pool from the terrace. You feel like going back in time, the houses is clearly old but extremely well kept and there is really cared about the details everywhere. The room itself was large, and offered all you possible could imagine bubble bath, a large bed, big TV, good WiFi, laptop, cappuccino machine, bathrobes and even a small cakes and local alcohol on arrival. Don’t miss out on the wonderful breakfast, served every morning personally at your terrace with a various number of local Greek specialties - can’t imagine any better way of starting the day. It’s an additional 7 euro, but worth every bit of it. On top of all this, you get the friendliest host you could wish and his family, that will help you with anything you need solved, before or during your stay. We had a absolute wonderful week at Arcus - should we return to Crete would we without doubt return to this magnificent little Paradise.

Très bel établissement

On ne se gare pas devant l'hotel, qui au coeur du village, dans des rues étroites..; ce n'est pas un problème, le village est facilement accessible, mais encore faut il en être informé. Arrivé sur place, la personne qui nous a accueilli était peu avenante...pas mal aimable, mais peu chaleureux comparativement à la Grèce. A part cela, la chambre, l'établissement, la piscine, le village tout est beau et fait pour votre séjour. Eneffet à moins de 5 minutes à pied, vous pouvez prendre votre petit déjeuner, ou aller dîner dans un auberge avec des supers plats ... Depart à 9h30, personne à l'accueil, nous poursuivons notre périple.

Très bien pour 1 nuit en village

Endroit magnifique et jardin avec piscine assez splendide. Accueil correct mais sans plus. On ne recommande pas grand chose, on n'offre rien... Cependant, c'est un petit village et l'hotel est difficile d'accès. Vaut mieux laisser la voiture près de l'église (stationnement gratuit) et marcher. Contente d'y avoir passer 1 nuit pour voir la vie crétoise dans les villages mais je ne recommande pas pour une longue durée. Hélas, nous avons vu des insectes indésirables se faufiler sous le frigo donc ça a un peu gâché notre appréciation des lieux.

A piece of real Crete with luxury amenities.

Amazing traditional Greek hotel has lots of space, stunning views and modern electronics and appliances. The manager was just terrific and point us to the good stuff and restaurants. I'm looking forward to stay here again soon!
