Madalo, old stone home with pool

Discover our secret garden with private pool, sunbeds and the waterfall ! A traditional cottage house at the medieval center of village. It has one bedroom, one bathroom, one living room-bedroom, living room and kitchen area. Have a walk to Atsipopoulo village an authentic traditional village, 3 km from the nearest beach. In the village you will find tavernas, bakery supermarkets, pharmacy, cafe within walking distance. Free parking area is 30 m from the house.
Our home is a 500-year-old stone- house, in a 200 sqm land with garden and private pool. It is located in the center of the old traditional village of Atsipopoulo just 5km southwest of the city of Rethymno.

With respect to tradition, our house has a lot of traditional elements from the old way of cretan life such as the stone carved gourmet, the impressive maze in the main space as well as the fireplace from the old brick.

Reference point is an old Venetian vault above the road that was the gate of the village’s inner in the Venetian period.

Inside, our house has a master bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom – living room with 2 sofa beds, a fully equipped kitchen with dining area, a main living room and a family bathroom.

Outside, there is a pretty large 70 garden of trees and lawns and two verandas. Our pool is 6 * 4m, with a maxdepth of 1.45m with a characteristic stone waterfall.
