Great stay in Rethymno

Brilliant hotel right on the edge of old town within 5-10 minutes of everything. Rooms are in a stunning old building with lots of character with a lovely pool. Host was also always available and very friendly.

The accommodation itself is excellent, as well as the location. However during very hot days, the upper room can stay hot in spite of the A/C. Parking can be a struggle. Besides that, it was a dream and everything in walking distance

This is a great place to stay on the edge of the old town. The owner was very helpful, she made sure we had everything we needed, and her thoughtfulness made us feel very welcome. We had a 1st floor balcony room which was excellent and we thought that it was worth paying the extra. The pool and courtyard space is very peaceful - with lots of thoughtful touches like free tea one coffee, and a dedicated drinking water tap

The backyard is beautiful with a small pool. A real oasis! The rooms are nice and clean. Good beds. The owner is a fabulous lady full of passion for her hotel! The kitchen could be better equipped. Missing was a cutting knife and a cork screw....

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the hotel manager, and the other staff members consistently displayed incredible service and professionalism throughout my stay. The hotel truly stands out for its attention to detail – everything from the inviting and spotless rooms to the well-maintained facilities was superb. I’ve never experienced such a clean swimming pool, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Unfortunately, I was ill during the three days I stayed here, but I felt truly at home. The hotel’s location, it’s right in the center, with a nearby shop and the cozy atmosphere And 10 minute walk from the main bus station was perfect. (The stairs to the second floor or just a small staircase And it didn’t take much effort to take my luggage up upstairs. I used to sleeping in 17° on the air conditioner, but at the hotel it only went to 22 but actually it got pretty cold so I can’t say I Notice a huge difference.) The small details, like complimentary drinking water and comfortable sunbeds, added to an already delightful experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place with high quality and caring service. Other hotel owners should check in at this hotel to learn what excellent service and high standards really mean. Thank you for having me!

We LOVED our stay at Phaedra Suites and highly recommend the hotel. Agipa (the host) is incredibly helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious and clean. The beds comfortable and the pillows are excellent. The courtyard and pool outback is the perfect spot to unwind at the end of a hot day. Within easy walking distance of many great restaurants and shopping too.

Welcoming place with personal touch

This was probably one of the most enjoyable places I have ever stayed at. The owner receives you, shows you around and is just so invested in your well-being. I felt very welcome and appreciated, almost like if I am family. She helped me in finding little less-known spots in town and had input on planned activities. I also appreciated the nice chats with her. I have nothing to complain about the cleanliness, it was just perfect. Location: at the edge of the old-town. Everything was in walking distance and there were no noisy bars/restaurants close. Some people might have problems with the noise of the cars from the street (in street facing rooms), but that differs from person to person. I also appreciated how quiet the place was. The property seemed to be a repurposed town-house and had just a few rooms. The way it is advertised it appears that a certain type of calmer people are inclined to book the place. I also was happy that this was a privately owned hotel and not one of the big chains (I know the irony of having booked it through this website).

Tio sköna dagar

Phaedra är ett charmigt lägenhetshotell nära strand, restauranger, mataffär, busstation och annat man kan behöva. Vår svit hade två mysiga sovloft och högt i tak. Hotellet har en innergård med en liten pool, bord och stolar. En särskilt bra grej är kranen med dricksvatten. Tack vare den slipper man köpa vatten. Köket har begränsad utrustning men två kokplattor, kyl och frysfack räcker ändå en bra bit då man vill kunna fixa en del enkel mat själv. Dock saknas källsortering. Hotellets ägare tillika värdinna, Agapi, är mycket vänlig och hjälpsam, inte minst inför resan.

Très belle chambre dans un environnement très relaxant. La cour intérieure avec piscine est très agréable. Accès au centre historique facile à pied. Je recommande cet hôtel pour un couple souhaitant un environnement paisible et chic mais a proximité de l’action en marchant 5-10 minutes.
