Our stay was wonderful and the staff exceptional from the wait to staff to the admin and cleaning staff all were kind attentive and exceptionally friendly and a bonus Yannis the owner gave us a Wine tasting of his personal wonderful wines Loco, Grenache and Merlot Cabernet I’d highly recommend a stay here it was our second time and when we return we will again stay at the Veneto

The hotel is well located in Old Town. This hotel has a 600 year old Venetian lobby and of course no elevator. Nice updated rooms. The staff was superior, as well as the buffet breakfast. If you want authenticity, this is it.

Very nice hotel in the heart of Old Town at a reasonable price. Staff were very kind and responsive. Room was very large and clean. And breakfast was very nice. We saw they also offer excursions during the summer, again at a good price. No complaints.

Veneto Boutique Hotel in Rethymno gets a solid 10/10 from us. The hotel is idyllically located in the old town, surrounded by historic buildings and charming narrow streets. The classic style of the hotel fits perfectly with its surroundings and creates an authentic and peaceful atmosphere. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the stay feel personal and relaxed. The breakfast was also very good, with a nice selection and high quality. We stayed as a family with two adult children, and the hotel worked perfectly for all of us. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful experience at this beautiful little boutique hotel, right in the middle of all the action in Rethymno. The room itself was lovely and came with a free bottle of wine. Staff was super friendly at check in and breakfast was fantastic. Just stayed for one night, but would’ve been quite happy to stay longer.

A lovely hotel in an old monastery building, in a great location at the heart of the city. The room was spacious, with a large bathroom. I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a room in the centre of Rethymnon.

Disappointed, won’t stay again.

Disappointed with the hotel. Looks nice from the photos and from outside. Hotel staff is polite and helpful, however the hotel room is poorly maintained and not well maintained. Housekeeping also doesn’t seem complete, with no vanity items(eg cotton pads) at all, and water is also provided only on first day despite staying for 4 nights. Window catch is also spoilt so the window cannot be totally sealed. Also, the hotel said that 10% discount will be provided to hotel guests who dine at their restaurant (called Veneto Restaurant). When we dined there, we had made reservations beforehand and though the service seem Pleasant and friendly, no discount was given. We asked once while Paying the bill and were told that discount was already given. However we were not given a proper receipt, only had the total Amount on the receipt with no breakdown. When we asked a second time, for the actual receipt with the items we ordered (instead of just a one-liner total), the waitress told us that she has thrown the receipt away and is not able to generate a copy for us. She asked us why we needed it and we thick-skinnedly explained again that we thought no discount was given to us. Again, the same waitress assured us discount was already given. We paid the amount as charged anyway but computed the bill on our own and realised that we were not given the discount, despite us asking twice and the restaurant confirming twice that they already did.
