"Rustic lodge in a beautiful rural location. Room was basic but okay for one night. Bar and restaurant staff were great, enjoyed chatting to them - really added to the visit. Lovely gift shop. Ate in restaurant for evening meal and breakfast and enjoyed food on both occasions. Rooms could do with a refresh but overall a good stay."

"The room was pleasant. However, the toilet every time we flushed it the valve stuck and I had to take the top of the tank off and loose the chain. Also when we went to put the floor mat down to take a shower. The mat was dirty when I unfolded it. Also the bedspread abd shower curtain were stained which because they were white made it look not so pleasant. We had trouble with the TV, but the staff worked on the problem and finally got the TV working. The beds were comfortable and they do provide a wonderful breakfast buffet with your stay. We would stay here again."
