I was so excited to stay here that I can’t believe how utterly disappointed I was with this place. The service and communication was the worst I have seen in years. And thats not a statement I make lightly. I made a booking and then basically right after I would have been able to cancel it I got the phone saying my two night stay was going to be split into two rooms. No option to cancel anymore and I felt like that was done purposefully. Even though they changed what was agreed upon when I booked I had no options. Talked repeatedly on the phone with different people, no one was any help. For a two nights reservation the bill was around $1200. I got $65 refund for the hassle. I was told to write an email to the manager and they never got back to me. Everyone was always passing the buck. It was a computer glitch which I understand can happen. But it was zero of my fault and I was the only one paying the price. They tried to make it sound like they were doing me a favour giving me a late check out and an early check in when switching the rooms. Someone tried to get into the room both mornings at 9am even after we told them we would not be out early. There was no communication with the people I spoke to on the telephone to the people cleaning the rooms. So disappointed with this stay but I guess what can you expect from companies now a-days. They dont care about your business and you are just a credit cars number to them.

Great room -- very clean, spacious, modern. Very well-equipped kitchen (best I've ever seen in a rental). Self check-in, so there is no management staff on premises -- but they were quick to respond to text messages. We forgot a bunch of hanging clothes when we left, and had to make arrangements for them to be picked up by a friend and brought to us in Golden -- guest services was very accommodating and helpful to make it happen. Only complaint is that the door to an adjoining room allowed noise to come through -- loud talking and laughter from next door was clearly audible at times.

Be warned- there are TWO Basecamp places in Revelstoke- we only stayed at the downtown location but friends ended up at the other one at the other end of town. The downtown one is managed by the other so you won’t have a front desk or staff around should you need anything. The space is comfortable and the location is ideal. Parking is super convenient. There is not much insulation between the units so if you are a light sleeper- it may not be ideal but it didn’t bother us. The top floor hot tub is fun and social. We will stay here again!

When asking for an earlier check-in than 4pm, we were told over the phone that we would receive a message when the room was done being cleaned. We ended up just parking outside an hour prior to checkin due to a storm, and did not receive any messages. The room was clearly done being cleaned even earlier than that, as no one came in/out of the room in the time that we were sitting outside. Although it sounds like a minor inconvenience, we really would have liked to settle in after a long day of driving. The room itself was clean and the check-in process was easy.
