For a budget hotel, this one really made the mark. It was conveniently located near BYU Idaho where our daughter graduated. The stay was pleasant and memorable.
Friendly staff, clean rooms and facilities. Restaurants and stores within walking distance. Pool area clean and maintained.

Liked: Staff & service, amenities
Lots of parking, check in was easy, they’ve renovated but some of the quality of the renovations was poor. If you need a place to sleep, it’s okayish. I felt it was overpriced for what we got.
Basic accomodations for a late check in and 10 hour stay. Bed was pretty comfortable, Staff was great. It was pretty quiet and conveniently located. Hard to beat the price!
Clean room, nice and helpful stuff. Easy parking. We like this motel.

Free coffee was only from 6am-3pm, other snacks limited. Good ice cream treats for purchase.
We had ants on our floor in the bathroom.
The room above ours sounded like they were clomping on the floor and moving furniture until about 10pm and the dogs in the room next to ours loved to bark, which made my dog want to bark, was so glad when they finally fell asleep.
We knew going into our stay that Motel 6 would be a very basic, no-frills hotel, so we weren’t expecting anything fancy. Unfortunately, even with those expectations, we were disappointed with our stay.
The room was not very comfortable and had a noticeable funky/unpleasant smell. The biggest issue for us was finding bugs in the room, including one actually on the bed. That made it very difficult to feel comfortable or relaxed during our stay.
The location is also somewhat isolated and off by itself, without restaurants, stores, or much of anything nearby. Normally that wouldn’t necessarily bother us, but combined with the fact that the hotel doesn’t offer breakfast and we already weren’t feeling very comfortable in the room, the location made the stay even less convenient.
If you are simply looking for a very inexpensive, basic place to sleep for the night, it may meet your needs. However, based on the odor, cleanliness concerns, bugs, and isolated location, we would not choose to stay here again and unfortunately cannot recommend it.
The hotel is a little isolated in location but still close to the city center and amenities via car. The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and uncluttered with zero frills. Excellent place if what you are looking for is a clean, affordable place to sleep. One thing to note that the walls are thin and as such you can hear when doors open and close and some conversation but otherwise you can still get a peaceful nights rest.
Easy parking. Great spot if you’re in town for a BYU-IDAHO event. Never knew a Motel 6 could be so clean and modern. Glad I took a chance after reading positive reviews. Exceeded expectations
About what you’d expect out of a Motel 6. Staff was pleasant and made check-in easy enough, room was basic but very clean and the shower was excellent. Was easy on/off the highway. Not much in the way of amenities but can’t beat the price.
