You are in Iceland. So please remember that everything is more expensive…..hotel, taxi, food, etc. The hotel is well maintained and located near the airport. The city of Reykjavík is located about 40 min drive away. The hotel staff is super friendly and helpful. There is an onsite restaurant and the food is good. Several other stores and restaurants are located within the immediate area in walking distance. I will definitely stay at this hotel again in the future.

Friendly staff. Let us store luggage before our rooms were ready. Easy parking. Shower in bathroom had no curtain or door - water got all over the bathroom floor. Room had high windows with short curtains - light was streaming in early morning (around 4am), making it hard to sleep.

Room was spacious and functional well. Rainforest shower head was a favorite. Firm mattress, soft and clean bedding——I slept like a baby. Breakfast starts at 5:00, provided the busy travelers a wide variety of choices——fresh fruits, vegetables, eggs, cheese, yogurts, breads, coffees and teas. Great value for the money. The highlight was definitely the Library Restaurant, with excellent food, ambiance, and service! I live in the LA area and I'd be a regular, if this restaurant was in my area. I wish. The hotel was attractive and the staff was helpful. There are plentiful sitting areas to read the paper, wait for your hotel guests, and wait for taxis. They made arranging a taxi to the airport very easy. The rooms were spacious and the location was right along the main street of town for an easy walk to the pubs, restaurants, and grocery store of Keflavik.

We were here for one night, and the beds could have been more comfortable, but our jet-lagged bodies didn’t care! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, brought us anything we needed quickly, and served us GREAT appetizers and drinks at the Library Bistro, which had a very charming atmosphere. We appreciated that the windows opened to let fresh air in, and the curtains kept the room nice and dark, despite the midnight sun (albeit super cool to see). One plus is that the hotel is just down the street from a waterfront pathway, which offers gorgeous views. While we spent most of our day doing a whirlwind self-tour of Reykjavik and Blue Lagoon (conveniently close to the hotel as far as drive time), we very much enjoyed our naptime, happy hour at the Library, views from the room, and eating a midnight gas station meal with the midnight sun shining through the windows. Very pleasant place to stay during our 24 hour stopover in Iceland and we can’t wait to go back next year!
