The worst Marriot property I ever experienced. The room doesn’t has basic amenities like hotel (toothbrushes, water kettle, slippers, and other basic stuff), it’s more like motels. The staff ignored our request even though we requested two times. The only good parts is the airport free shuttle ...

Hotel Berg was a perfect spot for us during our 24-hour layover in Iceland. It was incredibly comfortable and clean, very convenient to the airport for our early morning flight. Thank you!

The apartment was a really beautiful setting and had good amenities. The only downside was it was mentioned to me that there would be slippers but when requested upon arrival, there wasnt a reply from the host - other than that, a great stay. 45 minutes from Reykjavik but also is around 20/30 minutes ...

I like it.
It seems to be an up and coming neighborhood. I don't think many of the homes and business have been there for more than 5-8 years?
Base hotel is very close to the airport with a shuttle available for a small fee.
Sleep well, rent a car, take suggested adventures, and most of all bring a lot of memory for your camera because either guided tours or self guided tours will reward you with magnificent beauty.
